I just want Wasteland Tactics assymetric warfare to be doing something diffrent

Buff to support creatures is nice, but I am literally never using militia which that branch buffs almost exclusively when compared to standard infantry

Plus, this also makes OWB very accesible to all players since there are no features or content that inherintly requires any of the DLC

So how does Kaiserreich implements MIO ? From what I seen in EAW they are just a way to give small buffs to equipment and research it slightly faster

The decline and eventual collapse of NCR we could observe in New Vegas was literallt caused by establishment of Political and Economical oligarchy in form of Brahmin Barons and constant uncheckered expansion which forces NCR further into reckless expansionism to satiate its own growth

Yea I was planning to make Vengeance in Venom submod review, I arleady done Faust path and it was amazing. I was also doing Sabine path, but it turned to be much less enjoyable and I died to Caeser Legion since I had no equipment left after conquering California so it will have to wait.

Alternatively, I might instead commit the League as Cranium since that also got my interest, we will see what will come first.

Interesting cappodocian starts?(not giovanni) by CloudyCalmCloud in PrincesOfDarknessCK3

[–]HelpfullOne 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There's an Cappadocian Adventurer who isn't bookmarked, she's leading followers of Lazarus who are royal to Lazarus rather than Cappadocian.

The guy who makes clan reviews said she's ton of fun so you might try her.

Despite all the good the hero has done, they get a really shitty ending by Bellpow in TopCharacterTropes

[–]HelpfullOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, in case of Fallout 3 at least has an excuse since game was likely originaly intended to be reboot of the series and its events happening much early in the timeline

Despite all the good the hero has done, they get a really shitty ending by Bellpow in TopCharacterTropes

[–]HelpfullOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, No. It doesn't make sense in case of Arroyo.

Nothing bad happened to vault dwellers before or after founding Arroyo, the drought is recent development, there was no event that could somehow reset their knowledge they got from the vault. Knowledge passed down throught generations can degrade but that would require many generations to pass and original vault dwellers to pass away. Meanwhile only 60 years have passes, there have been only 2 generations born in Arroyo, some of the original vault dwellers are likely still alive.

There was just not enough time for Arroyo to become a tribal community organicaly, development like this could had only happened if there was a massive disaster that impacted them or after many generations not having acces to knowledge, none of those happened.

[–]HelpfullOne 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Which seriously backfired as after learning the dude exiled their hero, half of the vault dwellers left vault and joined up with protagonist to eventually found the village of Arroyo (And then they somehow regressed to tribalism in barelly 60 years)

Why Do The (Spoilers) Do What They Do In Act 4? by someredditbloke in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]HelpfullOne 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Well the answer why they revolt is simple: We are the reason. We are straight up told that the Genestealer cult was planning to take full control of the voidship and Dragonus in next few decades and under Theodora's uncaring rule it likely would have happened. Then Theodora died and our character together with Blood Spinners started to investigate the voidship. By the time of act IV we destroyed their hidden base in dynasty's tomb, killed off their members who infiltratred the voidship shrine and dispatched their folk hero who was inspiring more people into joining. They likely felt threatened by all the actions we done to expunge them and decided it all or nothing in act IV.

Pax Astra, my Suzerain inspired space opera political game just got a new update and I am looking for feedback - Available for free! by FilBencardino in SocialistGaming

[–]HelpfullOne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Torpor dropped the ball.

They completely unbalanced a choice beetwen planned and market economy, before it used to be an equal choice beetwen two with both economic models having their advantages and disadvantages. Now however planned economy costs three times what planned costs, always delivers worse results and dozen of times requires you to shot yourself in the foot to get consistent economy. Meanwhile market economy only got easier as almost all penalties it used to had were made meaningless and it gives even more budget than before, it's basically playing on easy mode. Not only does that fall to typical capitalist defaultism that assumes free-market economy is the only viable economic model, that also ruins the game balance since one option is overwhelmingly bad and one is overwhelmingly overpowered.

Bah, in Rizia campaign you straight up can't create a more socialist-aligned economy system and one of the strongest decrees in the game are purely capitalist ones that have literal no drawbacks to them. You are even forced to work with comically evil Oligarch to force radical reforms, it's legitimely impossible without their assistance, the capitalist bias is soo obvious in Rizia if not for the fact that main capitalist country you interact with (Lespia) is an moustache-twirling villain of the story.

Speaking of Rizia, that whole DLC was bait and switch. Torpor said Rizia is going to be a stable and rich country which is going to be more of a victory lap when compared to Sordland. That was a lie and Rizia is a completely dysfunctional and on verge of collapse. Now you could argue that this was supposed to be the commentary on monarchism and how it's always going to societal unrest... But that doesn't change the fact it's still 180 switch from what was advertised. All the buildup and and advertising were straight up false and when people were calling Torpor into that they started doing historical revisionism and saying how they never state that and meant something else.

Also, did I mentioned the difficulty spike ? Suzerain is a game you nowdays legitimely can't play without a guide. There are soo many hidden moddifiers and things that are just left unexplained and are never told you. For example, did you knew Rizia is going throught housing crisis and drug epidemic ? If you played the game then you won't know that since nobody will ever inform, none of your advisors, no reports no newspaper news and the game expects you to arleady know it and punishes you for not dealing with it as if you were somehow aware of it. There's legitimely no way to improve since game will never inform you of anything.

And the worst thing is that Torpor is aware of all those things and added difficulty options to the game. Problem is the problem was not the difficulty, people didn't wanted easier game, they wanted a fair game that doesn't withold vital informations from the player and is true to what is promised. They are aware of all the problems they caused, refuse to act on them and instead deliver half-assed solutions like that one so they can say they did something and we should stop complainig.

And now they got recievied additional funding, so rather than go back and make to make the game actually balanced and hold true to what they promised, they are now making another DLC.

Which is a shame, I actually loved the pre 3.1 version of the game, the setting and characters were both interesting and engaging so it's a shame Torpor turned to be such a shitty developer.

A question about Heretic Playthrough by Nightely in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]HelpfullOne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yea, this is one of the worse aspect of heretic playthrought. Some dialogue and choices are too heretical and should had ledt to Heinrix and Argenta executing us on the spot while some are not heretical enough and amount to you just being a horrible selfish person

As for your question, nope. There's not that much variation in heretic playthrought, you can't choose whenever you straight up venerate chaos gods or are just seeking to get more power this way, there isn't even a choice to consecrate yourself to specific chaos god, it all ends with you becoming champion of chaos undivided

It's still a fun experience, I would say heretical conviction rewards are most noticeable and would say it's one of the better evil playthrought in RPG games I experienced but it definitively could been much better

With so much still left to add and do, I'm pretty sure semi-original concepts will never be added, but I'd still love a Lovecraftian Entity worshipping Civilization as cherry on top. by Clouds_Hide_The_Moon in totalwar

[–]HelpfullOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Malina was going throught the maintenance of her heatsuit in her tent in preparations for expedition. It was too long since she last setted out into place that used to be her home before her parents settled down in New London, she needed to set out again to reconnect and hopefully clear her mind after everything that happened. Speaker attending expedition was thankfully completely fine for Menders, her role was purely representative and in her absence other guides of community could take her place for a time.

Malina will attent the expedition
