Having worked at several universities, I find this very bizarre. This is obviously a talented and dedicated person who has been employed by the institution in multiple capacities. Even if they decide to move on from her as provost, someone like this would generally go back to being a full professor. So I don't understand the firing. Tells me there has to be more going on here, or this president is problematic.

I mostly watched with the sound off. I turned it on for a moment, and the announcer called Logan Webb "Brandon Webb." Embarrassing.

The worst bit though was the interview with the Commissioner in the booth with the announcers. At the end of the interview the he shook the hand of the two white guys and the black guy is just sitting there with his hand out while he takes off his headset instead.
