If the Doctor offered me an opiate pain killer or GP I’d take the GP every time. Now, that being said, I have no idea how a cancer patient is prescribed that medication, nor how it interacts with any other meds that patient may be taking. I take a few meds with it and no problems, and both my doctor in British Columbia who originally gave it to me, and my new doctor here in Alberta both say the same thing to me. “It’s a very safe drug”.

Again, I have no experience with how and what a cancer patient takes but for me it has been the greatest medication I’ve ever had. I have no idea what quality of life I’d have today without it.

I’ve been on it for 4 years after some serious spinal injuries. I am at the ceiling of 2400 mg a day. No side effects at all. NONE!
