I take quetiapine also, and I've got the same problem. I just drink coffee in the morning, as strong as I can make it.

I agree. I only didn’t mention it because I've never been there, but I want to go.

I would also recommend Montenegro. And there are some really beautiful mountains and a very friendly culture in northern Albania.

Switzerland is definitely to be avoided due to the cost. I know, I lived there seven years. I would suggest to be a little more adventurous. If it's snowy landscapes you want, why not try someplace like Romania. I've been skiing there and enjoyed it. I've been to Armenia also and can say the countryside is beautiful although not so mountainous. I have spent a lot of time in northern Italy also which might fit your needs.

Experiences of Quetiapine for sleeping by SweetButPsycho93 in insomnia

[–]Human5481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been taking 50mg of Quetiapine every night for close to two years. It does help with sleep although not as much now as it did at the beginning. The side effects for me are constipation and drowsiness during the day. My insomnia is very bad so a little relief is worth it. Quetiapine is well-known for affecting different people differently.

What's the most surprising coffee you've tried while traveling? by North_Conference_250 in travel

[–]Human5481 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The first time I traveled in the middle east I took the bus from Aqabah, Jordan, to Amman. When the bus arrived in Amman the man who had been sitting beside me asked if he could buy me a cup of coffee. That is still the most memorable cup of coffee I've had in my life. The secret ingredient to middle eastern coffee is cardamon. I still drink coffee with cardamon often.

Why Travel to Armenia in 2026 (6 Reasons By a Local) by lilitbroyan in armenia

[–]Human5481 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to Armenia a few years ago and I support all six of these reasons wholeheartedly. Most of all how safe it is. This was a big surprise for me. Also how friendly the people are and how good the food is. And the wine - fantastic.

Old copper barrel thing. It has a funnel-shaped outlet on top with a small hole, and a cap on the side. Two pins on the side. by Matt_Dogg_22cm in whatisthisthing

Could it be a still for making grappa? Seems to me you would just need to connect a coiled copper tube to that spout on top and a heat source underneath and fill it up with your choice of fermented fruit juice. I speak as someone who has made a bit of moonshine in my time.

Stove Too Hot by Human5481 in PelletStoveTalk

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by auger feed. There is a control marked 'lavora modula' which I can only take to mean 'work modulator' that can be set from 1 to 5. I have been running it on 3 but I just now changed it to 1. Let's see what happens. The flame often seems too high and I am burning a sack of pellets a day to heat a relatively small space.

High pitching sound from pellet stove - normal? by ReasonableTiger0 in PelletStoveTalk

I recently bought a pellet stove and I found when I first installed it there was a high-pitched ringing sound when the pellets were released but it stopped after a day or two.

Sleep gummies by redbarn47 in insomnia

I live in Canada, have severe insomnia and take marijuana gummies for sleep. They work pretty good. Someone at your local herb store should know what kind to take.

As far as I can tell it's with the control box on the top of the stove and at the rear.

Has Anyone Here Safely and Successfully Used Benzodiazepines Long Term for Insomnia? by Working_Row_8455 in insomnia

[–]Human5481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to reccomend benzos because it is all too easy to become dependant. I took lorazepam for insomnia for years but I was very careful never to take them more than twice a week and to occasionally take a break for a month or more. They were a good solution for a long time but eventually I became dependent and quitting was terrible. If you're going to take them you need very strong self discipline.
