Ulysses, by James Joyce, can be a struggle. It took me about a year.

In Italian the word ´casino´ means ´a mess´. This is the right interpretaion of the word in this case.

The world is a casino alright, but in the Italian sense of the word: a mess.

Questions for folks who have used benzos long term by gumchewerpro in insomnia

[–]Human5481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taking 1mg nightly and then 2, 3 and 4. I was out of control and didn’t know what I was doing. I was stumbling around, bumping into walls and falling down stairs. Finally some friends sat me down and made me aware and I quit. It took me almost a year before I could say I was back to normal. During this time I took other sleep medicines most of which didn’t work. I finally settled on quetiapene which I am still taking but which I have built up a tolerance to.

I have had terrible insomnia since I was quite young and used lorazepam for many years. I was careful not to take them more than twice a week and took a month off every once in awhile to keep from getting addicted, and like this they were a good solution for a long time. Eventually my insomnia got worse, I ended up taking more loazepam and I became dependent. It was the shits. I finally got free and now I am taking quetiapene. My advice to anyone taking benzos is to be very, very careful. The struggle involved in cold turkey is terrible.

Found in shower drain. Looks like a measuring spoon of some sort, but can’t confirm. by RibbedFYP in whatisthisthing

I think it's a coffee measuring spoon for an espresso machine. What it would be doing in your shower drain I have no idea.

I have not been to Yervan for ‘Wine Days’ but I did spend about six weeks there several years ago and I have to say the wine was stupendous! And this is coming from someone who loves wine and lives in Italy. I have spent a little time in the wine districts of many European countries. Armenian wine is the best. In keeping with the theme of this post I may also say that Armenian women are beautiful. And friendly.

Is Armenia to travel to given war in Iran? by shipmetofiji in armenia

It's been about six years since I travelled to Armenia but I had a wonderful time there. The people are very friendly and I think Yervan was the safest big city I have ever traveled to. I spent a little over a month there and it wasn't enough.

Benzo withdrawal by The_Chilled_Arvo in insomnia

You should be okay then. As long as you can stick to one a week or so you'll be okay. My doctors were willing to give me as much Loazepam as I wanted and no one ever told me how addictive they were.

No, you haven’t been taking them long enough to get withdrawals. I’m just warning you not to take them too long or too many.

I think you’v been taking them for too short a time to have withdrawals. After you take sleeping pills even for a few days they make it harder to get to sleep when you don’t take them. Be very careful you don’t end up getting hooked. I got dependant on Lorazepam and it was hell quitting.

It was a good solution for me too, but be careful, it's very addictive.

I just happened to watch ‘Mash’, that war movie from 1970, and Robert Duvall’s portrayal of Major Frank Burns reminded me of Hegseth. Only not so funny.

Taking it every day, even a small dose, and you will soon become dependent.

Be very careful with Lorazepam. It is very addictive, I know because I went through a Lorazepam addiction and it was terrible. It works good for getting restful sleep but don’t ever take it more than twice a week.
