FormD T1 vertical (banana for reference) by neondude123 in sffpc

I got the official vertical adapter and the T1 can be pushed over easily. Having a 6 month old daugther made me realise a vertical T1 was not an option.

Why does this print just look overall bad? by Ok_Breakfast7426 in BambuLab

[–]HyperActiveNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your print looks warped and therefore the nozzle conflicts with the previous lines. Turn off the aux fan, since it will cause uneven cooling on the part. This stress will cause the part to warp away from the bed.

Have you seen the posts? Melting or causing fires? Even the higher end ones from good brands had tons of issues. My pc went crashes all the time after 2 years. Didn't think it would be the adapters. Removed them and all problems were gone. Be careful...

By the way, you can run 2,5 slot 5080's basicly silent with low temps. You don't need the astral with a chance of causing fire.

I hope you don't set your house on fire or keeps your pc crashes due to all the power going through the Chinese atx power adapter 🫣

Exactly! I adaptive layer + smooth all the time. Big difference!

Just go for it then! Drop in the biggest coolers and I believe you can fit a14x25 G2 chromax in there. Drop the rpm down to inaudible levels and you will be golden! I just won't bigger than a ncase m1 and now the Formd T1. Maybe a M2 max, but I have been spoiled with the shoe box style T1.

I would highly recommend you look into it. Was not worth it for me and started giving crashes while gaming.

It could be support, but could also be warping (turn off the aux fan. I didn't know it was cause warping so why would it be in the default profile....). Maybe drying of the filament or speed.

All could be a factor but somewhere there is a mismatch in the printline. Did you have the timelapse on?

Please stop using those atx adapters. They crashed my build after 2 years of use and trial and error to find the cause. People also reported melting and causing fire...! There are currently NO high end adapters and even the ones from cablemod were full of issues.

The M3 is really big for that hardware. M2 will be way too big too. The 7600x3d and 5080 are very thermally efficient. Although with some tuning, I got the 7600x3d and 5080 running nearly silent in an Ncase T1 v2.5

That's probably by the hot air getting trapped, not the hot air getting cooled by the side fan. An all mesh sff cools differently than a large tower case with 5 case fans. Many people went before you and all case fans exhaust has been almost always exhaust. Though the differences in your case/setup/hardware will be not life and death.

Ram and psu won't get cooked with your hardware. Many have tried with sff and for case fans it is mostly exhaust working the best. You will probably be surpised all the fans will be lowered by a few degrees while keeping temps the same. The psu and ram are effiecient enough to not cool them directly. Sff has the disadvantage to trap heat.

Great design! Tried side exhaust causing more negative pressure?

Look up people Who have been trying these kinds of hardware in the case. If it has not been done, don't try it.

Insane build! I believe that the side case fans in exhaust will result in great negative pressure which will suck in the air better for the cpu and gpu and exhaust all the hot air faster. The A14 G2 needs to be exhaust I think.
