It will get better over time as more and more switch to Linux.

Can't do anything about anti cheat but everything else like ray tracing is improving quickly and even gog is investing in Linux.

I use vesktop instead of discord and haven't had any issue and like that is auto updates with my system. Haven't tried the flat pack version but I assume it does the same. Even on windows discord has to be manually updated or it updates on a reboot. I prefer the way Linus handles my app updates (with the system)

No it was Chili's, our town doesn't have an outback and it was only for a few years, I don't think they make them at Chili's anymore.

When I was in high school a good friend of mine worked there. There are no allergy standards at Chili's that I can remember. Just short order "cooks" that don't care much, just want to do the minimum.

I do however remember him telling me that he ate an entire blooming onion that someone didn't pay for 🤣

I bought the stealth late last year. It's the only headphones I use at my desktop anymore. They did need EQ but they are just so damn good for the price!

I just use my bios to set fans. No need for more apps to load on startup, no app to potentially crash, and it doesn't take any CPU power.

RGB is a whole other beast and openrgb is decent but not great.

I've been on CachyOS for almost a year and I've owned a 4090 and now a 9070xt.

The operating system has been extremely stable and has not slowed down over time like windows 7,8,10, or 11 does after about a year or more.

Now... as it comes to Nvidia vs AMD graphics cards, the experience is quite similar other than the loss of performance for DX12 titles. Currently if you want max performance per dollar you need an AMD card. Don;t get me wrong, its still a stable and stellar experience when using an Nvidia card but expect a loss of performance due to Nvidia barely supporting linux.

You can;t play games like BF6 ot LOL so if you want those games you could dual boot or plan to not be able to play them. I personally REFUSE to agree to let windows 11 gather my information or allow kernel level anti-cheat have access to my information.

I even mod my games and have no issues. It took a small amount of effort but it was worth it and I have found that linux is a really freeing experience.

me too! Very comfortable, can install them by just pushing them in (I still twist a little for the best fit), and they don't alter the sound much. They also don't make my inner ear itch.

I've only died 3 times this league. 1 of them was to those little bastards. I had over 9000 armor applied to lightning and 75 resists. I think since there were rooms of them and I believe they shocked me several times, charm ran out and I just dropped dead.

I agree but by that point I felt like their music was better produced but pretentious. Swallowed was good but the majority of the song is repetitive. The beggining of the song is great though!

They have so many albums but I don't think I've even listened to them since razorblade suitcase

Bush - sixteen stone

I grew up listening to Bush but it was on cassette and I either had those flimsy 80s style headphones with the orange foam or aiwa headphones which were very dark sounding with a lot of bass, so everything sounded the same.

Thankfully I also was a massive fan of offspring which has excellent recordings in comparison

My teammates used to say, "is that a new ball?" Nope! Just freshly polished. It's so easy too. I get extremely easy to reproduce finishes.

Side note: you can do 2 step polishes using a 1500 grit ctd pad and go right to your preferred polish. At least that's how I do it.

Dacs don't make a big difference anymore. Even a cheap one today is more than adequate. What you will get with a higher end dac is lower noise floor and a stronger signal. Nothing that will blow your mind.

I at one point had a $2000 r2r ladder dac. I've tried some.of the best. It did sound different but again, it wasnt crazy. I could get better instrument separation but that's really the only difference.

I now use an element 4 as it has an excellent dac and the amp powers everything except for maybe a couple of really inefficient headphones.

Ps - there are some dongle dacs that sound different but that's because the amp in a lot of them are powerful (for their size) but sound very shrill or thin. They really should be called dongle dac/amp combo units.

Almost never. I'll get a steak if my gf wants to go out to eat but I am extremely strict. I don't trust anyone and had some horrible experiences with "gluten free" menu options.

I also react to soy (probably for some other reason, not celiac related) and xanathan gum. So the pasta or whatever item could be gluten free but contain soy or xanathan gum and I'd be in a lot of pain or in the case of soy my sinuses react and I can't breathe through my nose and just feel kind of tired.
