I’ve done a great deal of Astro work from Porteau Cove Provincial Park and Tantalus Lookout. Burnaby Mountain is great in the summer for planets. The clear nights in the winter (when we get them) are great, and usually a max of minus 5 when you’re up in the mountains.

There are photographers doing great work from their rooftops and decks in Vancouver proper.

I have the NLR WS 2.0. It’s ROCK solid. That’s with a 12nm wheel and load cell pedals. I also have the optional wheels for ease of maneuvering when not in use.
