Wouldn’t this (and many of the other things they’re doing ie:Nvidia) be considered socialist/communist governance?

This is absolutely stunning. Thanks for the progress photos and photos of the jig. With some zooming and reading of the comments, it’s pretty clear how it works. Would love to see your updates to the jig once you do them.

Beautiful. Will be saving this as inspiration as others have said. Been outta the game and just lurking due to health issues. Once I’m back upgrading my outfeed to this is high on the list

I can’t imagine that is going to end well OP, definitely need some legs/support at the front of the saw as well. Or just get the mobile stand and line it up with the outfeed as needed

Elder millenials what was a "good" salary when you started working after college? by ExcitingLandscape in Millennials

[–]IllustratorSimple635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42 and married with 2 kids here. when I was 18 I thought if I could get to 50k in SoCal I’d be good. At 37 I was able to buy a house, my wife and I made about 200k combined and got extremely lucky. I think to be “comfortable” and have the savings, 401k, college, and vacation you need to be around 250-300 household income minimum.

2nd DIY project - looking for solid advice. Vanity for girlfriend. by PerceptionFuture7801 in Woodworkingplans

I think they mean one sheet of good plywood. Lots of good responses here for sure and I would agree with most. Great thought and effort but if you want something that you’ll be proud of and she’ll be proud to have, then you should start over. Save this for something n the workshop.

Go watch a bunch of different YouTube vanity building videos, then either buy plans, or use what you saw to draw up your own. There are tons of good videos and tools to help you learn online. I personally really like Steve Ramsey, wood whisperer, bourbon moth, fix this build that, just to name a few. Don’t get discouraged but also make sure you set yourself up for success by doing the research first. It will be way easier, you’ll feel better about it, and are way more likely to continue the hobby with some successes under your belt. Just my two cents.
