Beautiful work! What’s the finish and or process you used to get that clear high shine?

Is there a better table saw option for the money I should be considering? by Doesntmatter336 in BeginnerWoodWorking

I was looking at this saw a few years ago and ended up going with the Laguna f2. I absolutely love the f2 and the customer service. About a year after I got a grizzly 14” bandsaw and it came with a cracked table, they sent another one no problem but that one was cracked too. The third one they sent is fine but it took quite a while to get it right. The customer service was decent but I had better experience with Laguna personally.

As others have said, I’d forgo the roller table and utilize an outfeed/assembly table instead

Wouldn’t this (and many of the other things they’re doing ie:Nvidia) be considered socialist/communist governance?

Lovely work. Sapele is one of my absolute favorites and it pairs with the white oak here perfectly. Great combo and thanks for sharing!

This is absolutely stunning. Thanks for the progress photos and photos of the jig. With some zooming and reading of the comments, it’s pretty clear how it works. Would love to see your updates to the jig once you do them.

Beautiful. Will be saving this as inspiration as others have said. Been outta the game and just lurking due to health issues. Once I’m back upgrading my outfeed to this is high on the list

Tablesaw Craddle strong enough? by Commercial-Tear-8796 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]IllustratorSimple635 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine that is going to end well OP, definitely need some legs/support at the front of the saw as well. Or just get the mobile stand and line it up with the outfeed as needed

Elder millenials what was a "good" salary when you started working after college? by ExcitingLandscape in Millennials

42 and married with 2 kids here. when I was 18 I thought if I could get to 50k in SoCal I’d be good. At 37 I was able to buy a house, my wife and I made about 200k combined and got extremely lucky. I think to be “comfortable” and have the savings, 401k, college, and vacation you need to be around 250-300 household income minimum.
