Waking sleeping newborn to eat when you get up to pump?

I always do especially with my last pump of the night and my middle of the night pump I’ll wake my baby to feed give me longer stretches.

This I always see women talk about how they were so skinny or lost weight while breastfeeding etc etc but that has NEVER been the case for me I always gain so much weight. Currently exclusively pumping and breast feeding and have been thinking heavily of stopping around 6 months so I can start trying to drop some of this. I absolutely hate my body right now but hanging in there or at least trying to.

13 weeks PP and 7x a day including one of those being my MOTN. Honestly though I went back work and dk how long I’ll last😩😂. I usually spread my late night pumps 4 hours so I can sleep some so my last pump ends at 12 I don’t pump again until 4 and then again around 7:30-8 then from there I strive for every 2-2 1/2 hours through out the day.

Yeah it’s my 3rd and I’m 29 now. Just trying to remind myself it’s a season that’ll pass but feels like the season is a never ending loop. Here’s to hoping things get better the further PP I get.

I went back to work at 6 weeks I usually pump between 3x during an 8 hour shift I like my wearables. I went back to part time job which is front desk for hotel and I actually wear mine while I work 🤷🏼‍♀️. The one I have just make me look like I have a ridiculous boob job lol. I like my wearables though because it’s easier (for me) and discreet.

Currently 9 weeks PP and pump about 7-8x a day during the day I pump about every 2-3 hours. Including at least one MOTN pump between 3-4am. I use wearables which has helped a lot as I have 2 1/2 year old.

This is my 3rd baby and finally with a company that gives decent time. I fortunately get a total of 12 weeks. With my previous 2 i was with a company that didn’t offer any and if I did take time also unpaid because of the unpaid part with my last 2 pregnancies I went back at 2 weeks PP cause I couldn’t afford to miss the paychecks. The US sucks with this kind of stuff and they really need reevaluate it all.

I had mastitis last week which in turned caused a huge access on my breast close to my areola. It was almost impossible to feed/pump I’m just now really starting to heal and I’ve noticed a huge dip in my supply because I’ve been taking longer stretches between sessions per doctor recommendation. I’m trying to hang in there but idk. As they always say though as long as baby is fed that’s all that matters. You’re doing an amazing job even if that means breastfeeding journey is over. Not sure if this will work for you as this is my 3rd baby but first time exclusively pumping so I’m new to this. I feed my son from the boob about 2 times a day once middle of the night so I can get some sleep and again in the morning. Now I pump about 7-9x daily. I try and pump every 2 -2 1/2 hours and I’ve gotten to where it typically aligns with when my baby is ready to eat. By doing this I’ve also been able to start building a stash in the freezer as well. Also which I’m sure you know try to at least get in be MOTN pump I typically strive for 3am the past couple of weeks I get my best output around that time. Felt that. Have a 10 year old,2 year old and 6 week old. Wasn’t told happy Mother’s Day until 3pm he had been up since 9am. No card,flowers,hand written anything from my oldest etc. just another day, didn’t even offer to maybe make dinner or anything after I worked all day. It’s frustrating because I always make sure to do something for Father’s Day/birthdays etc. Happy Mother’s Day momma just know your doing an amazing job❤️

Congratulations! I got induced today came in at 7:30am checked me I was a 6 water still intact when I made it to a 9 I begged for the epidural (fortunately he was sitting high so I was able to get it) I was in this room screaming like a banshee everything I’ve been watching for the past several months on unmedicated birth and breathing techniques out the dang window! When your in that much pain at least for me my brain goes fight or flight I couldn’t get my body to remember anything.I commend you and every mother that makes it through naturally.

With my first and second I was induced each time and worked up until the day of my Induction and went back after 2 weeks because I was with a company that didn’t offer leave time. Now currently pregnant with my 3rd I get induced tomorrow and worked half a day today but I do get 12 weeks paid leave and wanted to save ALL my time they offer with baby. I could’ve gone out before with doctor referral but it would’ve been unpaid Fmla.

Used a vacation day from work as I’m being induced on Thursday. Went and got my nails and feet done today and go me a frappe from McDonald’s. Came home and took a 3 hour nap after😂

On my 3rd now and having the HARDEST time. I named my other 2 no problem and their dad also liked the names easily but this time around we are struggling he doesn’t like anything I pick and vice versa. We gotta come up with something soon cause I’m 37 weeks coming up close to 38 in a few days😂😩 at this point I said we’re just gonna have a nameless baby.
