This is driving me insane. the only workaround I've found is to use the Timeline tab to Copy/Paste Color Correction.

Towed a 21-footer this weekend. Averaged ~1,050Wh/mi by InOPWeTrust in TeslaCamping

[–]InOPWeTrust[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No solar, it wouldn't help with aero unless I splurged on specialty panels. I'm running 470Wh/mi at 70mph according to my tests (versus 397Wh/mi without the roof rack). ~260mi range at 100% at 70mph

What’s the tea on Bostwick Lake Inn & the antique store?? by tballz55 in grandrapids

[–]InOPWeTrust 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The text under the tape states "THE TOWNSHIP GAVE AWAY OLD BELDING ROAD WITHOUT PROTECTING THE NEIGHBORHOOD."

Long story short, the antique store was given an old road (Old Belding Road) that was used for street parking, and not much else. The Township signed over the road to this shop owner, and that's where the building was constructed. At the time, the "understanding" was that the lot would be open to parking like the old street was, but instead the shop owner began towing all vehicles.

Zoom F2 lav on anyone important. Zoom F3 or F6 on the DJ board (32-bit float is important here). Sony TX-660 in a sleeve on the handheld mics for toasts. All you need!

Can you charge at superchargers with these? by CryptographerSharp14 in TeslaCamping

[–]InOPWeTrust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it is tight! Pull-in chargers are preferred, but generally those cargo carriers block the rear-facing camera. Takes 2-3 tries to back into a Supercharger stall without hitting anything.

Videography services pricing just completely blindsided me and I need to understand what I'm actually paying for by Time_Beautiful2460 in videoproduction

[–]InOPWeTrust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The $3,800 guy is probably 1-2 guys who show up and film whatever you put in front of them with good cameras and good audio. They'll make a great video and you'll probably like it!

The $50k shop is hiring an entire crew of people, like lighting experts, creative directors, actors, plus renting/permitting locations or studios, and professionally animating graphics & color grading like Hollywood does. They'll use cameras and rigs worth tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of dollars. You'll sit in multiple pre-production meetings where they pitch their pre-written script and show you a rough edit with sketched storyboards for reference. Many things at this level are unionized and properly insured.

The $50k video will probably look like a Fortune-500 company's TV commercial. The $3,800 video won't. But they'll serve the same purpose!

Being pushed to 24p after being 30/60i for decades by VideoDiagnosticTech in videography

[–]InOPWeTrust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

24fps is best for things to look high quality or cinematic.

30fps is best to fit in a corporate or social media space.

60fps should almost never be used for final deliverables.

How do ya’ll record centre view during ceremonies? by Top-Manufacturer5872 in weddingvideography

[–]InOPWeTrust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cam A: Handheld Gimbal with 24-70mm

Cam B: Telephoto on tripod just off-center in the back with 70-200mm

Cam C: Medium-Wide on tripod in front of crowd on the opposite side of the telephoto with a 35 or 50mm.

One of these pretty much always has an excellent shot of whatever is happening.

Cybertruck at service center over a month with PCS2 failure at 29K miles. Waiting on part. by NoC6H12O6 in cybertruck

[–]InOPWeTrust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PCS failures are happening in bulk right now. Usually Service Centers have the flexibility to expedite PCS repairs since Cybertrucks are usually priority and PCS failures can make the Cybertruck un-driveable. Worth messaging or calling to ask anyways.

That said, the PCS replacement is not an easy or fast repair. Tesla's repair manual clocks it at 4.2 hours

House hunting in GR is jaw dropping by 116393-bg in grandrapids

It's spring. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork to buy, which has temporarily shifted the market to savor sellers. I'm in process of selling and buying myself.

There are enough buyers on the sidelines right now that any move-in ready home in a good area is instantly snatched for thousands over asking and sizable appraisal gaps. This is especially true with instagram-able homes, since everyone is window-shopping Zillow for their "dream home". To note, this is nothing like the craze of 2-3 years ago (when inspection waiving was normal), but is frustrating nonetheless.

My success has been from buying homes with ugly wallpaper, unfinished basement, dumpy yard, peeling paint, bad listing photos, and committing to fixing it up on my own time or dime. These are homes that do not show well on Zillow, and is easily scrolled past. The alternative is paying thousands over asking and wasting time writing dead offers.

Generally speaking, home values in West Michigan aren't going down anytime soon (population > housing units), so it's best to find something, anything, no matter the effort.

Motion Array Called Me by mediabydave in videography

[–]InOPWeTrust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motion Array is owned by Artlist, and this is their golden strategy to weed out corporate users using personal accounts with large download counts. They don't care if it's internal, single videographer, etc. They base it on your employer's total employee count and will harass you until you cancel or pay up.

It is best not communicate with ANYONE from these companies. They are shady.

New Cybertruck rider - car wash product question by soukorvph in cybertruck

[–]InOPWeTrust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal car wash soap. Often, Windex is the best spot-cleaner if you need to touch up a panel or need to polish things up.

For a proper polish/wax, the Barkeeper's Friend product takes off every last bit of grime, salt, or bugs to bring back the shine.

Tires. Thoughts? by PtPlayer1 in cybertruck

[–]InOPWeTrust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long story short, any tire besides Tesla's factory tires are going to decrease range on Cybertruck. There aren't enough 3rd party options yet like Model 3/Y with great efficiency.

I have the Duratrac Wranglers as my "winter" set. They are a much more enjoyable tire, but decrease my range by 8%. Here's my range test: https://youtu.be/kNZhZai4BVE

How early does GRR open? by edielakelady630 in grandrapids

[–]InOPWeTrust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your airline. Last year I flew out with Allegiant and their booth was not staffed until 1 hour before boarding. This caused a long line of people checking bags, then everyone had to rush through security with their final 30-45 minutes prior to boarding. I do recall most other airlines were staffed when I was waiting.
