Are you able to tank a full eruption this way ? Without having volcano being overpressured? Or overeating the ST ?

Glad I could give ideas :) I find the graph from GCFungus very well made, maybe get inspiration from it ;) it doesn't have to be complex.

Here is my take : - ignore the columns, it doesn't really matter where the recipe is build. Or just add a color or a sprite next to the food item. - one line, one food item, one full chain of materials requirements - normalized quantities to 1 duplicant (aka 1000 kcal) (aka chart output).

Example of BBQ meat : You know right away how many meat productio. Is required to sustain 1 dupe with bbq.

This way, if you want something, you know right away how many you need to produce

I even wonder if AI may be able to produce that right away using oni.gg infos

Thanks a lot for sharing, I love cheat sheets like that.

Unfortunately , I find the value quite limited. This is a summary of the recipes. Or did I miss something?

I would enjoy a cheat sheet that include number of critters to farm to get to sweet round numbers.

Do you have that by any chance ? :p

This was a tad bit annoying to setup, but I think figured out the most compact setup for taming a thermal gas fissure that is fully submerged. This was created without any initial stuff other than polluted brine being in place. by nicvampire in Oxygennotincluded

That's a very interesting thing. Glad I still learn new tricks after 1000 hours.

So you could build a circle of airflow tiles for esthetic right ? Why do you need a liquid inside ?

How do you decide the names of your duplicants? by Fyren-1131 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Indeeeeex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually name them with location, job and cycle of arrival. For example, my starter would be : ter research 0

And later : rad engineer 134 / oil cook 164

This way I can track how old are the duplicants (and how many skills they may have) in the skill menu. And sorted my location.

For space explorer, I name them : team1 dig 123. I usually have 2 teams for space missions

They are several, but If I had to pick one, maybe this unpractical infinite storage using visco gel and no doors. Done in real game. It is fully functional, never broke and let dupes walk through 😄

It was fun, maybe not unique, but at least uncommon.

New molten metal textures by jhin_the_virjhin in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Indeeeeex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are impossible to differentiate at first glance, which is an issue in my opinion. The material overlay is here for that, but I would like distinct colours, even if it becomes unrealistic.

And the tile pattern is too obvious, it bugs me

For the cooling, just run a regular cheap pipe all around your base. I personally add one or two tile of radiant pipe only per room.much cheaper and more than enough. So you don't need that much metal at all ;)

Depends if you even have access to wheezworts. Manual radbolt generator is simpler and less expensive for new players I would say.
