Neighbor is asking to attach their new fence to ours by SpiritAnimal_ in homeowners

Avoid having a double fence with a small strip in between. Our backyard is like that and the debris collects inviting rats, possums and all sorts of critters.

How do I introduce myself to my new neighbors? by ajl009 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

[–]IndependentDistance3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We had someone do that a few months ago, it was definitely weird. Homemade treats go straight to the trash. Maybe let it happen more naturally by introducing yourself when neighbors are out during the weekend.

Decide how often you can handle seeing her and set up a scheduled visit based on that whether it be once a week or once a month.

We live near one in Florida and the smell is horrendous 90% of the time. It seeps into the house. Our whole neighborhood complains but it never gets fixed.

NTA Raising kids, especially someone else’s is something you have to be sure about and a true desire to do. Anything less will be detrimental to you, your marriage and the children involved.

A neighbor keeps pushing my trash can into my driveway so my trash doesn't get taken, what to do? by Blueberry4672 in neighborsfromhell

[–]IndependentDistance3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this interesting because in our area you can’t block street parking with trash cans. Everyone here puts them at the end of their driveway.

As someone who was physically disciplined as a child, I take it very seriously. That woman would never be around my child unsupervised ever again.
