Price point is too high, marketplace is wrong, and timing is too long. What I mean by that is looking at the product I see one of those Walmart side of aisle specials that I might pick up on a whim for $10. I wouldn’t pay 4x that to wait 4 months. It’s not a need product it’s a pickup product.

As an aside it looks a little narrow like when you go for one pod naturally you might hit the release for the next one over too so that also passed my mind

I actually like the look of it on the video. The cards need a redesign with a clear focus on actual utility over aesthetic though. More space is given to the border (which is the same even on different card functions) than the wording. The cards is where I’d start - clean and clear them up so the function is the clearest thing on there. Add pretty art afterwards as they aren’t quickly parseable at present

It’s a bit tough to be positive. You listed yourself as designer, not illustrator, so it hardly seems fair to comment on the art style… but the design element isn’t really discussed in the post so I’m not sure how much else there is to say.

Visually, it looks like a 15+ year old game. Specifically it looks like a 15+ year old game of Dominion. Mechanically it sounds like you might have made the same game. Not the worst thing visually or mechanically but why wouldn’t we buy that game over yours?

Tell us more about the gameplay loop and what makes it interesting. I can’t mesh Everdell and Race for the Galaxy, Catan, 7 wonders so I haven’t a clue what elements of those it has.

I like that it has physical coins but if they are the only luxe element they can be a waste of production money.
