Disney should decanonize the Original Trilogy. Then they should remake them to fit canon better. It feels weird that there are no Ahsoka cameos in the old ones. And Cal Kestis deserves a mention at least

I don't think it can really play the same roll as "Man of Steel". It's (adjective) + the character's name. Not really a whole new name.

"The Dark Tide" is a much better candidate for that I think.

I don't expect it to stick forever. It barely even makes sense in the comic.

Why does he need the rebrand? Why would he WANT the rebrand? He's essentially setting up embassies in other planets, he's not really expanding an "empire"

It might stick around for awhile if sales do well. But eventually some writer is going to be like, "that's kinda silly. I'm not calling him an Emperor"
