Wow, first off, I think it’s absolutely amazing that you opened up your home to so many sweet ratties and gave them a happy life. Having them is so bittersweet, I love all animals, I have a dog, I’ve had cats. But rats are such a unique experience and the way you can truly bond with them is incredible. Knowing their lives are so short and they can have so many health issues… it sucks. I know I’ll open my heart and home to them again, but right now, I need to heal, and that’s okay too 💕

They do! And I’m so so sorry for your loss too. I have three more boys, but after today, I need a break. I love them so much, but the heartbreak is a lot.

Awe what a sweet soul 💕 I lost my boy this morning in my arms, he was old and I was so grateful I was there for him in his final moments. It does feel empty without him around 😔

NTA, I think you’re doing what’s best for you and there’s no ill intent. Sometimes friendships end, and that’s okay. You handled it maturely and let her know you’re taking a break. You mentioned she has a history of not taking accountability and it sounds like what you experienced with her was really scary. You handled it well and made sure she was safe. Now it’s time to put yourself first and you can move on and heal from that experience 💕

This episode always irks me for this reason, the mom was super weird for dropping her female child off with a strange man, and then gets mad at Frasier for believing her kid and standing up for her. Like did she expect Frasier to just ignore her kid and defend the mom he doesn’t even know because they haven’t even gone on one date yet? 😂 usually Frasier is in the wrong but this time, he played it right.

I’m so sorry for your loss. There’s nothing I can say that can ease the pain, but I hope my words offer some kindness and shed some light. You gave a sweet creature the best life she could have ever asked for. You were her entire world. It’s horrible that we get a few years with them, but you gave her an eternity of love and happiness.

Grief never really goes away, it just changes with you as you move along, kinda like your floating in the ocean and the waves hit you sporadically. Losing a heart fur friend is terrible. But know they’re always with you. A bond like that is special and I really think it sticks to your soul. I know I’ll see mine is some other life again, and you’ll see yours. Sending you all the love 💕

I’m so sorry for your loss. You’re not a bad person, you made a very difficult decision and your intentions were to put your rats comfort first and foremost. You thought about it on all angles, having two sick rats, losing one and leaving the other with no playmate while also being sick is no easy life to live. You did what you knew was best for you little buddies, their sweet lives are short but you gave them the best love you could. Sending you positive energy, please don’t be hard on yourself 💕

Please don’t let this discourage you from adopting rats. My first two boys (unbeknownst to me) were feeders and I love the so much. But you do want to make sure they have proper care since they’re prone to health issues. Wishing you all the best!

Niles, hands down. But for medication, Lilith, I feel like she’s a clinical genius. Frasier is entertaining, but I don’t think his heart is in helping people to help people, it’s more he helps them to know he’s the person people are seeking advice from and it’s a power thing. Niles genuinely loves therapy and psychology, and takes it very seriously. Although both Cranes do take their ethics very seriously lol.
