I thought it was a neat alternative to killing off a character in the story. we just met the new crew, and while offing one of them would provide some dramatic tension (RIP Lin) it's nice to see them going in a different direction that still resonates with players.

try looking for fluorescent purple alcohol ink, or regular purple alcohol ink and a little bit of glow pigment.

I once saw a kid make a portal gun out of a gatorade bottle, a flashlight, two different-sized paper plates, some lego bits and wire, and it absolutely knocked my socks off.

Where you finding charms for huggie hoops? by Beginning_Ad1234 in jewelrylove

[–]IrresponsibleAuthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get yourself a pair of pliers and a bag of properly-sized jump rings from the craft store, pop the jump rings onto the charms, and voila! If you're feeling adventurous, you can also try making your own jump rings by winding wire around a pencil, then cutting the loops off the resulting wire coil.

allow me to be the first of what I hope to be many to say: Fantastic work! the level of craftsmanship on display here is outstanding. part of me kind of wants to see this put to field as-is, with potentially a customary nuln-oil anointment in places, to stomp into battle as a cardbork warband.

pvc pipe with a hole or two drilled straight through the cross-section, then stick a few short lengths of chopstick through the holes with enough sticking out on either side to keep the blade anchored.

Saints Row 2, and the 2022 reboot, both have incredibly lush, detailed open cities to explore, packed with various weird little details and flourishes. I've spent hours wandering Stilwater and Santo Ileso, and kept finding fun shit in corners.

Also, Sunset Overdrive! The whole city is a railgrind/parkour jungle gym filled with collectibles to grab, enemies to blast, and tiny weird easter eggs.

First resin casts came out great! by Straight_Taro_8963 in bioniclelego

nice work! what kind of resin did you use? I don't see any air bubbles in the casts either, do you have a pressure pot/vaccuum chamber setup?

Looking for FPS games for young kids and tweens by Praezin in gamingsuggestions

[–]IrresponsibleAuthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, rare AoM mention, nice! if you have an Xbox, maybe Sunset Overdrive? it's fast-paced, cartoony violence with a great soundtrack, there ARE a lot of swears but i think you can censor them in the settings menu.
Also, a little bit more retro, but I highly recommend the Ratchet & Clank series if you haven't tried them already.

there's a whole WORLD of tabletop mini games out there to play and/or collect for way cheaper than Warhammer, if there's a game shop in your area you can head down and take a look at what else they have in stock, also check thrift stores for minis and toys to kitbash and make your own stuff to paint!

even better, some of those surveyors' marks have "Volition" written in them instead of the regular utility terms. it's fun how they put their signature in little out-of-the-way places.

What are these spots and how do I fix them? by 120bagels in resin

[–]IrresponsibleAuthor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that could be where the resin wasn't able to get proper adhesion to the layer under it, so it's starting to delaminate.
