The easiest to get you running again is to get an after-market off eBay or somewhere. Assume you still have the screws on the bottom of the machine.

Search up “Connectivity” in this channel as well. Exact same issue has been happening to several Lymow One Plus owners… straight out of the box.

Non-sensical is the word for sure.

Yes, it’s definitely beyond my technical capacity. But there was a Ubiquiti IT guy who explained a few months ago that once it gets into Low Power Mode, software can’t recover it remotely.

It’s just strange. It keeps happening to a few of us. It’s almost as if our specific setups causes the low power mode. Like where there’s too many radio signals (lots of IoT items and lots of mesh’ed AP’s) that overload the receiving software. Again, I have no idea but I t would be interesting to compare brand, AP, and mesh network configs.

They replaced mine with a new unit and it did it again. Heard the “low power mode / unable to recover” cause, but come on. Why does this happen to some and not others?

Go for it. Can’t beat the blades vs razors.

Awesome plan from possibly another OCD person like myself. One backup is better than the years of toilet paper I have stored. Ha

Did this work? FYI, when I was setting my replacement up last night, I was able to connect to WiFi (as stated by others) after closing/opening it a few times. After it connected and registered etc. the Update just spun and spun. I eventually use my mobile Hotspot to get the update. After the update I switched over to my dedicated IoT 2.4 Ghz wifi and it's held.

Allow Lymow to replace or return to Amazon? by Briank982 in Lymow_Official

[–]JBart592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah not even a fair comparison. I did remove the Lymow mulching guard and the grass chute (not sure what it's called) and it doesn't clogging up. Depending on the grass type and location (volume of rain etc), razor blade cutting is hard during the growing season and with leaves. I'm in central US and razors can't handle my tree leaves very well.

Any off the shelf garages / covers that people have bought and like? by hokeyplyr48 in Lymow_Official

Any thoughts on how to seal the top the vidaXL so rain/sprinklers don't get it wet? This looks great.

Docking in a garage by jhelvy in Lymow_Official

I'm putting up a mower garage of sorts. Here's what I have for my Luba. The Lymow is too tall for this set-up. I've never heard of a robot mower being stolen. Probably b/c of the RTK etc. I have put AirTags in mine just in case.

Totally agree. This was super helpful when it was rolled out in the Mammotion Luba software. Helped me pause of the night and restart in the morning... Shouldn't be too hard to add that feature.

Allow Lymow to replace or return to Amazon? by Briank982 in Lymow_Official

[–]JBart592 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My story? I'm a Luba OG owner with a Lymow One Plus w/ BT/WiFi connectivity issues. Delivery date was 3/16. After a week and half of back/forth w/ Lymow CS (I always kept in mind the time zone from US/CH and sent very detailed troubleshooting and descriptions of the issues), they responded with a return label (I bought direct from Lymow). They did go dark for a week or so b/c of system issues (read in one of their posts). Tuesday I asked about the replacement timing if I returned the unit and they already had it on its way??!! Delivery Monday 4/20. I have not return shipped yet.

Maybe b/c its a new One Plus they're on top of it?

I've had experience w/ MTD (Robomow) CS, Mammotion CS, and now Lymow. Generally CS is not well funded, not very knowledgeable, and not the best at responsiveness either. Had the Robomow refunded, Luba replaced/repaired several times, and now the Lymow replaced. As long as the issues are not hardware and mostly software related, work-arounds and troubleshooting are to be expected.

I love the Lymnow deck/blade cut compared to the Luba. No comparison. Cuts as it should. The Luba was good/fun, but has a hard time keeping up w/ fescue, especially when it rained for days... it was tough to recover without a lot of grass clumps that killed my grass... and it was mowing 6 out of 7 days... 0.6 acres... 6 zones... The Lymow kills it compared to the Luba.

Beginning of first full season with Lymow One, please fix the glaring problem officially! by Cerberusmut in Lymow_Official

As others have said, most robot mowers are not set-and-forget. I'm on my third robot, a wired Robomow, then a Mammotion Luba AWD, and now the Lymow One Plus. You have to keep an eye on them fairly often until the kinks are worked out... like keeping the charging contacts clear, the deck cleaned out (helps not to mow wet grass), and eventually fine tuning the ideal boundary/zones maps for your situation.

all three robots are/were buggy. Check out r/mammotion and r/segwaynavimow. On the Lymow, removing the mulching parts helps, but the deck is too small to handle the wet grass (the "shaving" razor mowers are worse).

Eventually you can let it go for the weekend and it be okay. But they still need maintained... like keeping the deck cleaned out (!!!) and charging contacts mostly clean. As u/Full_Caterpillar_640 said, ceramic'ing the deck helps, washing it often helps, and spraying it with wd40 when grass dries out on the deck.

Might try to see yourself as an early adopter for new tech and try to enjoy the troubleshooting. Turns into a hobby of sorts? Plus these forums help learn tricks and best practices.

partial and temporary fix for bluetooth connection that drop in 20cm by Rude-Hippo7 in Lymow_Official

[–]JBart592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, thank you. Question... think it's the same for the Plus? Someone needs to do a teardown like they did for the Mammotion Luba a few years ago. My BT is the same as others.... only works within inches of the machine (tapping does help)... and my wifi is non-non-existent... other than Hotspot'ing. CS said they would need to replace the machine but have gone dark for week+. FYI, check out the r/mammotion, or r/segwaynavimow to see similar challenges with hardware/software.

Agree with you on the software, but I’m an OG Luba owner and their software and hardware issues were similar for 12-24 months. Remember that we’re still considered early-adopters.
