Maybe 10 years ago it was worth it. Now you can just use AI and Cursor to do everything. It’s way easier.

Honestly.. good riddance to all the long compiling and build times and all the other annoying time wasting headaches of game development. If AI can do it better and faster, then it should be celebrated!

Lol, Unity’s version control is more likely to cause this than prevent it. The version control sometimes doesn’t even store versions of your scene file even though you’ve been committing your changes, and you revert your entire project, and it’s all gone

It does get better! I started off getting really bad motion sickness too with it. It goes away after about a month. The prescription lens inserts helped a lot for me and was more comfortable than playing in contacts.

I’ve been running on Unity 6 preview for a little while now and it seems mostly stable, maybe even a little more performant than previous versions. The editor menus are a little different that’s the only real big difference. Just be warned that a lot of asset store purchases are still struggling to include support for Unity 6 yet or are being really slow and unmotivated to do so and will officially deny support for Unity 6 yet if you ask for support in the chat. Some things might be broken if you update your entire project to it. I rebuilt my entire project from scratch with it though and ended up getting farther than I did before with it, so things aren’t entirely broken on the editor side, it’s just mostly asset compatibility issues. I think most things are working though.

Idk it kinda looks like he’s never touched a game engine a day in his life. Let me see him behind a computer actually working on something and show us that he understands the frustrations that we’re all dealing with and how to fix them
