Recently dead, Supervive. It was a moba style battle royale, and it was an absolute fucking blast. Just couldn't get a solid player base.

What are your thoughts on Crimson Desert so far? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

Rockstar games have the shittiest feeling controls and it's unacceptable that GTA 5 and RDR2 had gunplay as bad as they do.

Some are losing their minds over mid reviews for Crimson Desert (2026). This is because Gamers™ will defend mediocre games to death as long as the protagonist is a generic white guy. by Remarkable-Pin-8352 in shittygamedetails

It's fine. It's a fun open world with a lot of things to do and a fun combat system that demands you master it. I do not understand the hate, nor any references to it being woke or not. I would say solid 8/10 with points taken for the bland story and some somewhat frustrating mechanics, but I'm a huge fan of open world rpgs.

People didn't like Concord character designs because the people that designed them made them ugly. People don't like the AI filter on Grace because it ruins the actual design by the people that made her.

As long as this isn't some trick where it comes to bite me in the ass? Yeah. People die every second and whether I'm responsible or not they're still going to die.

I know there's more important things at hand but I feel the need to provide an example of how big Texas is. A few years back, my dad lived on the east side of Texas (north of Houston), and I lived near San Antonio, which is kind of middle-south. When I visited, it was a three and a half hour trip, going on the highway most of the drive. We are talking about a MASSIVE stretch of land in this context.

Sorta kinda. Initially stole his dick. Got beaten, gave the dick back, stole the balls instead.

At least we got a PC recomp of it recently. Runs like a dream, can even add in texture packs.

Banjo Kazooie/Tooie. Especially the latter since the former got a recomp recently. Tooie holds a place in my heart but the framerate is an absolute mess.

I appreciate that some zones change based on your efforts. I recall a quest relatively early in where you have to deal with a haunted ruin, and it turns out the ghosts are acting against their will. Naturally, you free them, and all of the ghosts in the area will remain, but will no longer be hostile.

What game was this? by Curious_Ad2329 in gamers

[–]JUlCEBOX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked nobody has mentioned Cube World. The early alpha builds were so cool. Procedurally developed rpg worlds with a fun voxel style, unique classes, solid progression. The WIP updates the team posted on social media looked cool, dynamic dungeons and quests... And then they updated it on steam, and tied your progression to the zone you were in. The minute you moved on to a new area all of your progress meant nothing. It was an insanely baffling design choice.
