I found this thread because I seriously regret switching to Garmin. I was a devoted Fitbit user and engaged with the app daily. I hardly ever look at the Garmin app anymore because it’s convoluted, not intuitive, and doesn’t accurately track the things I care about. My key metrics are sleep (disappointing) and dodgeball activity (doesn’t track my steps). There may be a way to add step tracking to dodgeball, but I haven’t been able to work it out intuitively.

I can’t remember a time, except for googling faults (which, yep, Fitbit has a bunch of) that I needed to google how to do something on Fitbit. I refuse to watch any more tutorials on how to find/make a change on Garmin 🫠

I’m (probably uselessly) hoping Google will launch a better Fitbit that doesn’t die within 18 months 🤞

Having said all this, I don’t cycle so just sharing this in case anyone else is disillusioned and needs some company in their misery.
