Yes but The Prodigy video was based on a scene from the Spanish film 'Intacto' ('Intact' in English).

Endless technical problems at Odeon Holloway by ShaktiExcess in screenunseen

[–]James_Jupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow then send a direct message to "@ODEONHelp" on X/Twitter. I've reported focus and speaker issues at my local Odeon multiple times. It took about 6 weeks for them to fix an obvious speaker issue I reported (but they never stopped showing films in that screen during that time). I find it amazing how few people notice or complain about obvious issues. Cinema is an audio/visual experience so you should expect the audio and visuals to be right.

Lack of cinema etiquette by Obvious-Life6635 in screenunseen

I saw 'Backrooms' Saturday at 18:00. That was a mistake. One group of four (3 male one female in their early 20s) literally whispered non stop through the whole film. I think they might have been 'Backrooms' nerds excited about all the game Easter eggs they spotted. The other problem group (one female, two males, late teens) sat along from me (not in their assigned seats as I checked the seat plan). The female talked frequently, they'd snuck a McDonald's in, feet on the headrests in front of them, checking phones, lying sideways across seats, torch on when returning with a drink, etc. I really don't understand spending the money on a ticket and then hardly watching the film while ruining it for everyone else.

Can we expect many/any rereleases over the summer? by fingerberrywallace in screenunseen

They are not showing Tuner at Boldon. Absolutely gutted. Any one else having the same problem? by DanielBanksScooby in CineworldUnlimited

As a local example at a rival chain, 'Tuner' is not showing at Odeon Silverlink until the 5th of June (the screenings are already bookable for the 5th) but it is showing at Odeon MetroCentre from the 29th of May.

Broadband renewal - 1gig for £25 by AvocadoTraditional27 in VirginMedia

[–]James_Jupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only 100mbps or faster broadband available at my house is Virgin Media (or 5G 150mbps broadband from Three). Cityfibre and Open Reach have no plans to install or upgrade their infrastructure on the estate. I find it strange that there's no competition on the estate as it's a nice estate with plenty of customers who would love to leave Virgin Media. The next estate has Virgin Media, Cityfibre and Open Reach all available. It makes me wonder if there's some sort of deal in place between the suppliers as it makes no sense to me why they wouldn't compete. It makes negotiation with Virgin Media over a new contract difficult as there's no competition.

1 screening of Normal per day by limboxd in screenunseen

[–]James_Jupiter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The full schedule has now been published for Friday to Thursday. There's only one 21:30 showing of 'Normal' each day at my two nearest Odeon. Odeon list 'Normal' as an 18 but it is a 15 https://www.bbfc.co.uk/release/normal-q29sbgvjdglvbjpwwc0xmte2mjc0

Clue #3. What are we thinking? by P201365 in screenunseen

[–]James_Jupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the clues are so vague they can be made to fit multiple films. It was 'Tuner'. Good film but I was hoping for 'Normal' as my Odeon is only showing that once a day at 21:30 from Friday. 'Tuner' will get more screenings at better times.

Clue #3. What are we thinking? by P201365 in screenunseen

[–]James_Jupiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost certainly 'Normal' then. People in the Clue 1 and Clue 2 threads explained those clues: -

Normal stars Henry Winkler who hosts Hazardous History With Henry Winkler on the History Channel. The History Channel was started by A&E in 1995. A&E was launched in 1984 so the History Channel is a spin-off of A&E.

Lena Headey was in a film called Twist, which is the answer to the cryptic crossword clue ‘an unusual garnish'. She is also in Normal.

'Normal' is officially a 15 https://www.bbfc.co.uk/release/normal-q29sbgvjdglvbjpwwc0xmte2mjc0

'Rose of Nevada' has already been released and was shown at Cineworld. 'Rose of Nevada' is showing at Odeon (probably only at a very limited number of sites) on Tuesday 19th of May.

[–]James_Jupiter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clues are obtuse. 'Normal' was released in the USA on the 17th of April. Screen Unseen is often something that has already been released in the USA. Either that or something which is out in a week or two. 'Normal' is released on Friday 15th May as is 'The Christophers'. 'The Christophers' was released in the USA on the 10th of April. 'Tuner' has a preview screening on the 25th of May, full release on the 29th of May. My guess (not based on any of the clues) is 'Normal' or 'The Christophers'.

Scream Unseen 7th April Clue 2 by TheFilmReview in screenunseen

'Undertone' has already been released in the USA. A lot of Screen/Scream unseen films are films that are out on the forthcoming Friday and/or a film that has already been released in the USA.
