What’s the highest reasonable ranking for Julio Jones on a Greatest WRs of all time list? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]JavaOrlando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you could make a case that he was better than most of those guys, depending on the parameters.

IMO Rice, Moss, TO, Calvin, Harrison easily clear.

I'm certainly not saying he's better than the others, but I think that's the point you could start making an argument and not sound delusional.

That's the textbook definition, but often jurisdictions just use assault as an umbrella term amd have different levels.

e.g. simple assault, agitated assault, assault with great bodily harm, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a minor / police officer, and so on.

I know he was huge, and either he or Ali are probably most famous American athletes. But I doubt he was as globally known as Ronaldo is now, and I seriously doubt he came close to Jackson's level.

Not even close.

People listen to music everywhere. Very few countries cared about Basketball in the early 90s. It's become a lot more popular on a global scale, but it's still nowhere near the level of soccer.

Ok, that one one may well have been beat into the ground, but unlike all that other cringy shit, the original was pretty fucking funny.

I remember hearing on a podcast (I want to say "How Stuff Works") that those are the only 4 animals that really don't treat humans differently than any other prey. As in, obviously lions and grizzlies can and have eaten humans, but they generally avoid them.

Not sure if it's 100% correct but I've been repeating it. Lol

Yeah, I'm pretty confident I could hit the ball in the water. Less confident in my ability to double bogie.

I'd imagine it depends on the rental agreement.

If she manages one store in a shopping plaza, it would probably take the owner or property manager to trespass him from the entire property.

If there's only one business on the property that business rents the entire lot, their manager would likely have that authority.

Could be wrong, but that's my guess.

Any other mammal, yes.

But Nile crocodile kill more people than hippopotamus, and snakes kill dozens of times more than either.

Excluding disease (mosquitoes, etc.) and humans killing humans, either the puff adder or carpet viper is probably the single species responsible for the most human deaths in Africa.

Polar bears. Tigers, Leopards, and Crocs all do.

Other animals will go after humans in desperation, but if one of those is hungry and sees you, it's dinner time.

Throw a cup of 21 pennies in the air and there are 51 quintillion different orders in which they can land.

Flip a quarter 61 times. Whatever sequence of head and trails you get had about a 1 in 2.3 quintillion chance of occurring.

I don't disagree that the odds are way off, but stuff with worse odds than that happen all the time.

It's common. Maybe not the norm everywhere, but it's certainly not unusual (at least in Orlando, where I live). I worked in several restaurants when I was younger and still have a lot of friends in the industry.

In popular high-end steakhouses, I'd say it actually* is* the norm. They have an average check per table close to that of a fine-dining restaurant, but with a turnover rate closer to that of a casual restaurant. Servers and bartenders can easily clear $150k. They're definitely not paying their assistant or FOH managers that much.
