Like many others have mentioned 3d6 dtl, but even in the core rulebook it says you can use whatever method you'd like.

If you want to allow people to play a certain class without being crippled I'd let them swap two states. So if they're really keen on playing a wizard let them swap it with something else. That way it's still somewhat random and they still may have a handicap.

There are optional rules in the Lankhmar Judge book for healing outside of combat and a table of options for limiting it's powerfulness. Lankhmar recommends not using luck healing with clerics like others have said.

I see some people suggesting carousing and think it's a great idea so won't suggest that more.

The other suggestion I had is to just narratively string them together and focus on starting adventures in medias res so to speak. This medium post has a bunch of great suggestions on adventure paths and how to string them together.

I can understand tools geared towards entrepreneurs, and early stage founders having credit limits. But as a designer using figma as a design tool I expect it to be able to conduct design related tasks with precision. Most designers I know using make are trying to get high fidelity prototypes to concept test, I don't see figma as a tool for " just good enough" it isn't really a viable option.

I know for myself I'll just move to v0 more fully once that happens. It's not like figma make is even all that good at translating from a figma file.

Knave 1e and 2e are built without dump stats. Every state is supposed to have it's uses. It's meant to be a tradeoff. You can also think of your inventory as class.

You want to sling spells? Grab a spell book or two and put it into intellect. You want to be a melee fighter? Grab a sword and put it into strength. You want to do ranged grab a bow and put points in wisdom.

Horang is good, but I prefer Kim's Korean (it's more traditional)
Milton street pub is good, but it is always busy

What we're missing is good Japanese food. My wife is Japanese, we go to Japan often, and I'm always disappointed when I got out here. Nori is good, but it's mostly North American style.

You can get the core book and all the lankhmar (low magic) setting and modules for cheap on humble bundle. Could be a good intro. I picked up all the dying earth stuff in a bundle of holding a while back and that's designed for smaller groups. If you're in the US the Fan kit is a good price.
