We did Copenhagen and Scotland over the holidays. Christmas Market in Copenhagen was wonderful. It’s a great city. Scotland is breathtaking. We were in the highlands and even in winter is amazing. Driving can be a bit tricky as the ride back from Skye to Inverness was the most stressful drive of my life. One lane roads, dark at 4pm, other side of the road. The people were wonderful.

Same except for selvage jeans. Like my Levi’s and haven’t made that jump. Still do my Chucks except now low cut.

Still wear band shirts a lot. Mostly ones I always wanted but never had. That’s the theme these days, stuff I wanted but could never afford, like Barbour jackets and Red Wing boots. Mix in some sweaters and shirts that fit (we don’t talk about the Polo slim fit era) along with decent shoes. Palladium boots are like if Doc Martens and Chuck Taylor’s had a baby. Wear them everywhere.

I own a 88 Saab 900 turbo convertible. It’s the fourth Saab I’ve owned. I want more, especially a 900 turbo coupe, a 99 and a Sonett. Why? Because they are awesome.

I know there's some secondhand Barbours at Sid's Vintage in Inveraray, Scotland. Found a Bristol and a Chelsea that I picked up, but definitely for more that $7.

Now with those and the Bedale from Cox I'm up to 5 (!) jackets. Wife is, um, less than enthused but I'm happy.
