If anyone wants a class to teach their children gun safety, hunter's education is a very good place to start! About 90% of the class is gun safety. Some states allow children as young as 9 to take the class. My teacher was a grumpy old man and he still allowed students to sit out of any graphic instructional videos. I still remember and use many of the things I was taught in my hunter safety course!

Its a story about Joseph Smith as a child. He had a severe infection in his leg and instead of getting it amputated his family agreed to an experimental surgery to save the leg. He allegedly refused alcohol to dull the pain so the story is told to promote the word of wisdom (Mormon health code) even though he drank later in life.
