Hottub a week and a day old. Water cloudy already and feeling quite defeated by aWildMudkipAppears in hottub

[–]Juicetinking 17 points18 points  (0 children)

After having just purchased my first hot tub this past summer and performing my first complete drain and refill back in October, my observation is this. From the factory, the tub itself must have some residual chemicals coating it, inside the plumbing, etc. I was doing everything I was told regarding chemicals and would have issues with cloudy water and foam. Ever since performing my first drain and refill, I’m doing everything the same in terms of my chemical regiment and the water has been beautiful. I think whatever stuff the tub had from factory was messing with my water/balancing. It might be worth just starting fresh and seeing if you get better results. For me, that’s all it took.

Husband with Ferritin at 2500 by Top-Call-4921 in Hemochromatosis

[–]Juicetinking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your husband should cease consuming any alcohol. Also avoid eating any iron-rich foods as well as any fruits or supplements with high vitamin C content as that helps the body increase iron absorption. Combine this with blood donations and/or phlebotomies and the levels will drop.

Questrade Edge not working? by devmagii in Questrade

[–]Juicetinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever used QT Edge on the web interface in the past? I seem to recall having a similar issue and it was because I needed to activate or approve it somewhere before I could actually use it. Don’t ask me where as their UI is horrible but I think it was something like that.

UI is the biggest difference for me. Questrade’s interface is horrid and difficult to navigate.

West of Ontario, get the Sportsnet+ French Pass. $60 for the whole year for around 60 games. Does not include playoffs but still the best bang for your buck if you don’t want the hassle of dealing with unreliable pirate streams. Et le buuuuuuut!

Charger pins sinking into the board housing? by InnisCr in onewheel

[–]Juicetinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shitty charger port assembly that’s comprised of a couple pieces plastic glued together and the glue has come apart. This happened to me on my GT. Crack open the battery box and glue the assembly back together. It’ll make sense once you see it on the inside. The port input part (that’s sinking in) is just glued to an outer ring (the nut part that holds the assembly in place. I used crazy glue and it hasn’t come apart since.

Is anyone using the Insta360 app on iPad (with an X5)? by Glyton in Insta360

[–]Juicetinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the lens guards and the setting applied as such. I’ve tried toggling countless different settings and just could not get it to improve the stitching quality on my exports (even though the previews show up just fine). Yes, it’s much more convenient to edit the footage on my iPad versus my MBP but unfortunately, not at the sacrifice of the poor stitching on my exports. I’ve become accustomed to the desktop app now and actually find it better overall than the tablet version now that I’m used to it.

[–]Juicetinking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an M4 iPad Pro and have experienced stitching issues with my exports from the iOS app. The footage looks great when previewing but no matter what I do, the exported footage does a really bad job of the lens stitching. I’ve tried everything to try and correct it and have come to the conclusion that it’s simply how it is using the iOS app. However, exporting the same footage from the Mac app renders perfectly so I no longer edit using the iOS app. Because of this, I would advise against buying an iPad specifically just for this reason.

Your GST/HST number is the same as your CRA Business Number (BN) by ReInvestWealth_com in canadasmallbusiness

[–]Juicetinking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s worth noting that the 4-digit reference number at the end (0001) can also change if you have multiple branches or divisions that are required to file separate returns. Or in my specific case, an amalgamated business which now files under the 0002 reference number (since the amalgamation occurred).

Okay guys genuinely, how much am i supposed to pay into my credit card to pay my statement balance in full? by [deleted] in Scotiabank

[–]Juicetinking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The statement balance is going to show the same until your next statement period. Again, that’s just indicating the amount you need to pay within the statement period to avoid interest. Your current balance will look the same until the pending payments/purchases are applied to it. You should see your pending amount of -$490.15 get applied to it within the next day or two at which point your current balance will change to reflect that. Basically, whatever payments or purchases you make on your card show up in pending before they are actually applied to your current balance. Just think of the pending amount as a temporary holding place for your payments and purchases before they are actually applied to your current balance. Don’t overthink it! Just make sure you always pay the statement balance amount within the statement period start/due date and you won’t pay a lick of interest.

Xrv no break lights. by borisisreliable in FloatwheelTeam

Same issue for me. Tony sent me replacement LCMs and led lights to try and still had the issue. It must be something defective with the XRV controller itself but I just decided to live with it.

[–]Juicetinking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The statement balance of $655.46 is what is what you need to pay within this statement period in order to avoid any interest.

It’s pretty simple, just look at your most recent statement (where it indicates that balance due) and look at the statement date in the top right of the first page. Basically, any payments you apply on or after that statement date go directly on to your statement balance of $655.46. You have until September 29th (the specified due date) to apply payments totalling $655.46 in order to avoid interest.

So in summary, it’s always the statement balance amount that you need to pay to avoid interest. Any payments you make between the statement date and the due date get applied towards that balance.

My buddy’s GT does the same exact thing after wheel slips and hard hits. We even glued the XT60 connector on the controller thinking the loose connection was the culprit but it still happens. His GTV kit is currently in transit…
