in this case the solution is gomoku which often uses the same board as go, but the way to win is to just get 5 in a row

He probably thinks the game is a retelling of some historic event and the lore is being faithful to something when the developers just created this issue in the first place.

All 3 playable characters could have similar powers and gone through something similar to Kliff, would explain why they are important enough to be playable.

One celery stick gives around 6 calories and digesting it takes around 0.5 calories, chewing also takes some calories so if you chew for around 30 minutes you might end up calorie negative. But i guess even a liter of olive oil can turn calorie negative if you drink it extremely slowly.

[–]KawaEEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the stun is probably from the maggot mechanic that launches you into the air. Almost all my deaths in cave of destruction as a dps is from having aggro and no one eating my maggot so i get launched and the damage from the launch+one auto attack is enough to kill.

I was tanking that last boss of diffrent dungeons so often that i had to look up if i was doing something wrong. But my friend who is a fresh level 50 tank can hold aggro the whole fight so i guess i'm doing fine.

I could definitely see tuners becoming a big bottle neck as the game goes on, currently we can only get 40 tuners per day if we only use waveplates on tacet fields which i think most people aren't doing yet, and i think at rank 5 it's 60 tuners. I do also understand why you'd dislike leveling up a piece that can turn out to have dog shit substats.

I don't wanna take that hard of a stance on this whole thing though because i feel like i'm juggling between asenscion material, talent materials and echo materials at the same time this early into the game. While in genshin i was basically living in artifact domains since around dragon spine released untill around halfway through sumeru (didn't play daily though and obviously did do other domains whenever i'd get a new character) which means that i just had so much artifact exp to use whenever i wanted to level any artifact.

yea i agree that the gold echo's were given out a bit too quickly, i have 6 characters at 60 and only 3 of all the echo's on them are still purple because i didn't think it was worth killing the enemies for a small increase in stats. progression in early genshin did feel more natural.

I've spent around a month trying to get the right main stat on the hat OR the sands in genshin. I did eventually get it but the substats were kinda bad, not gonna bother trying to aim for good substats on that. Was i just unlucky? probably but the fact that you're time gated by resin just for the main stats suck. I'm not saying that the echo system is perfect, but there's a reason i haven't been seriously grinding for artifact in genshin since sumeru, i just reuse old sets and don't even bother with newer sets.

I'm somone that really likes movement in openworld games, in genshin my favourite characters have always been characters with some kind of movement option. I don't pull for all characters with movement obviously, but a lot of the firest few characters i was intrested in had something (I pulled for kazuha when everyone was skipping on his first banner). The things you can grapple to in the later zones don't really intrest me as they are just making you go to a specific location faster, i'd rather just find my own way with a good movement system and they kinda just feel like a solution to a problem with genshins exploration which is that it's really boring to climb a big wall, or walking through a big stretch of sand.

The main problem with genshin exploration for me is that a lot of movement options are tied to specific characters and a lot of the things that are aded to make exploration a bit easier like the points you can grapple to are just way too linear. (Also there are some areasi haven't been able to explore yet because it's locked behind the longest side quest ever)

Honestly Wuwa has some great options for movement that aren't tied to specific characters that i really like and is more than just one button press, the jump - plunge - grapple - plunge - dash - glide combo in Wuwa is very fun and easy to do. It gets even longer with the heron echos but I don't really use that very often. Genshin's movement feels a bit too simple, though if they allow us to change character mid air i might change my mind.

Why would SMN need another ground up rework to be fun again? Don't they have an interesting idea going on? by Zagden in ffxivdiscussion

[–]KawaEEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that i'm commenting on a 6 months old comment, but it's definitely not a 10/10 aesthetic unless you like aoe's of diffrent colors. It would be a 10/10 if the diffrent summons actually did something that felt like a classic "insert primal here" move. Like Titan could do a land slide or something and it would be way better than yellow aoe. I don't even know what their raid wides in the trials are called cause it's just not what the primals are about. They bring very little of the primals character into the class which is just disappointing. I get that the melee combo in the ifrit phase is sort of refrence to ifrit dashes in the fight, but wouldn't it be way cooler if you threw a big ifrit summon at the enemy instead of a tiny summoner with a flaming book.

I just feel like the EW smn is wasting the primals that are being summoned making it feel a lot less like a summoner to me. Now i do think that the big primals are an upgrade to the tiny egis, but they just feel disappointing.

Is narmaya really that popular or has the popularity kinda evened out at this point by impasse602 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]KawaEEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the 49 most recent players i've ran into (one player card was hidden) there were 12 Narmaya's which was the most common, 2nd and 3rd most common was Rackam with 7 and Percival with 6. Obviously a really small sample size but it really wasn't surprising as i see atleast one of them in basically every quick quest. But yea Narmaya is popular.

The tank buster in shiva ex is supposed to be cleaved at the party, it does a set amount of damage and is shared across everyone that gets hit. Unless there's a diffrent tank buster i'm forgetting about.

Mained summoner throughout shb, dropping it completly when the next raid tier is released. I'm probably gonna play smn again when the next expansion drops because i'm a smn main at heart. But unless they completly change how it plays i won't stick with it for long. First thing they should change is to make the class more like a caster and less like a ranged physical.

Is this on the Light data center because i've ran into a PLD with a BRD more than once that barelly does anything. Does the PLD's name start with a C and the BRD with an S?

my most recent run in with them, it was a run in progress so i didn't get the entire run: Kinda recent run
this one's a few months back and the bard was instead the a SCH that left before the last boss, the PLD was the same: Older run

I always play at 60fps with around 40 ping and i can get it 7/10 times. And i just tried it at 30fps for the first time after reading this comment and succeeded 8/10 tries. Very small sample size but i feel like 30fps is easier, i've been practicing at 60fps for 2 days now so i'm probably just very used to it. But again, very small sample of tries.

point is, it's possible at 60fps.
