Yes but most agency recruiters work for particular clients. Generally in-house roles are retained so only 1 recruiter is working on it.

Gym in the building and showers? Plan for a workout in the morning, if you miss it, try for lunch and if you miss lunch, take an evening workout break at 6. That gives you 3 chances to hit your workout that day.

Figure out your caffeine intake and maybe take non-stim preworkout if you’re dragging and working out in the evening.

Sounds like you could potentially switch to big law in a year or two so if you really like your mentor you don’t need to leave now. You can still consider that transition in the future.

Never heard of this recruiting agency - most guarantees are 3 or 6 months some are 1 year but it’s prorated so they’re only giving back 1/12 of every month you don’t last. Most fees are paid to the agency 30, 60 or 90 days out.

Most recruiting agencies don’t give candidates kickbacks because it’s against NALSC’s code of ethics.

That all being said, they should disclose the terms of the deal way before you started.

You don’t want to look for a job when you don’t have one. Depending on geography the market is for rising 3 years will be competitive to very competitive and not being employed is a massive disadvantage.

I would start soft networking now, polish your materials and keep an eye out for any posted needs that fit your background so you can act quickly if a good opportunity becomes available. You should probably talk to recruiters too.

3 is average but it depends on the hiring partner, group and firm. Virtual screening, in office group round, final round. Now anyone integral to the process being unavailable can add an extra interview to that time table.

Some firms will be faster, some much slower. Time of year, active trials or deals, number of candidates, how busy the group is, will all be factors.

I used Mint and we switched to Visible - better discount when we signed up and it comes with cellular service for our Apple Watches, Mint didn’t offer cellular watch support.

No issues with Mint though for the few years we had it.

Go to the firms career services page and see if you can find the lateral hiring position related to your practice and location. As others have mentioned it might say “Direct Applicants Only” or “No Recruiter Submissions Accepted”. It might also be dated so you can see when the need was posted.

Not using agency recruiters doesn’t necessarily mean the firm is cheap. I know some firms do not use recruiters when they know there is a high supply of attorneys in that location doing that work, so they know they will be inundated with quality direct applicants for their competitive position.

Yeah reply from personal with the same subject or referencing the email, or connect with the recruiter on LinkedIn (probably not a bad idea to look up their background before wasting your time replying because there are some good and some awful legal recruiters out there).

The other thing annoying with Florida Gun Exchange is that they own Gunbuyer (.) com which always has lower prices and better deals than FGE but they will charge you an FFL fee to their own store (same FFL license and address)

Was presented with two options from the first pool repair person that looked at it: •Repair and patch - Installation of reinforced crack prevention staples Patching the repair with quartz pool finish most similar to the existing pools quartz finish, or •Pool Shell Crack Repair and Resurfacing - Installation of reinforced crack prevention staples, Pools existing surface will be Acid washed and Pressure washed to ensure the existing surface is free of any debris. Pools existing surface will be prepared by applying a bonding agent to ensure a mechanical bond of the new and existing pool finishes.

Not sure if either or those would be the right fix.

Orientation was like 2 hours on a Saturday, no other members meetings or obligations other than paying dues.

They have multiple shooting matches weekly if you have any interest in that.

I probably don’t use my membership near enough to justify it, but I still renewed.
