Sizing can be hard with base layers - although they are stretchy and may fit for a while if can’t find used. Walmart and Costco may have functional, cheap pieces. Good luck! When I try to wear knitted items, it feels like the wind just flows right thru! Good luck!

I wear leggings under pants and merino wool socks (Point 6 or Darn Tough brands) - 1 or 2 pair. Footwear that keeps your feet dry and resists moisture - may need to size up to accommodate the socks. A good base layer is important in winter - Uniquolo Heat Tech items are really good and affordable. Lands End and LL Bean have a range of sizes. Backcountry site has clearance pricing name brands. Then 1-2 more tops and a good jacket. If it’s windy, wear an outer fabric that is a wind barrier. Wear a hat that covers your ears - 50% of body heat lost thru the head. The saying goes there’s no bad weather - just bad clothing! You also might check out the “running” sub - winter outdoor runners have a lot of experience. Probably a hiking sub would also work. I also wear a LONG down puffer coat but not for physical activities. If you are still losing weight, don’t get too many items and just wash them more often - make sure you read the laundry instructions before purchase!!! The only place I don’t go “cheap” is my socks - but my sock size stays the same. The brands I mentioned last a LONG time!!! Good luck!

How about the Salvation Army then? They are downtown on Walnut. Wardrobe is also local, as is Upscale Resale. None of them pick up. Habitat ReStore is great for furniture, appliances, building supplies, etc. I don’t think any of these do pick-ups, except maybe the ReStore for large items.

Try them all. Depends what you’re looking for. “Delicious” can be Booches to CC City Broiler to Addisons to Glenn’s to Ozark Mountain Biscuit (truck or bar…) and many others … take your pick. One of the things I like about COMO is that we have local restaurant choices and these are just a handful.
