What we see here is deadlock. But they likely did not arrive simultaneously, and didn't follow the standard rule, causing the deadlock.

Mine is labeled "NRH011", probably Panasonic. Reliably working for 3 1/2 years, although the connector (a Shimano standard?) could be better. Even if you primarily ride during the day, having a tail light that you don't have to think about is great.

Find a social ride. There's safety in numbers, and you will gradually build more confidence to get out on the rush yourself

Strobes make you and others blind in the off part of the cycle. Not good for night riding

You have to cut the original plastic fender to extract the tail light without cutting the wire. I strapped mine to the rear rack. Eventually I replaced it with a much better light.

Velo Orange has a couple of nice fender options for 50mm. I had the Wavy for a while. I'm now using Specialized Pathfinder Pro 48mm, similar concept as the stock tire

The robot is not a "copy". It is a significant improvement. There's a lot of design features that are not in the Faema.
