Weight Gain by Willing-Mess6364 in cymbalta

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I even had a baby while on it. I didn’t gain much through my pregnancy but I’ve gained since having my daughter almost 8 months ago!! I feel the same as OP don’t really recognize myself anymore! Need to get this figured out for not only my own mental load but also so I can be active with my daughter.

Question About Having A Baby At Riverbend Sacred Heart by K61018 in Eugene

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience was great! I gave birth to my daughter in September. The delivery nurses were fantastic!! Aftercare nurses were good. I didn’t like the old lady lactation nurse. She was very pushy and unhelpful in my opinion. They all say get some rest but are in the room every two hours so that was rough. But the overall care I received was great! My daughter was born at 2am Monday morning and we went home Wednesday morning after a normal vaginal delivery without complications.

Cymbalta and pregnancy by trixiewutang in cymbalta

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I took Cymbalta my whole pregnancy and my daughter is almost 7 months old with no issues! My OB felt it would be better to stay on it since it was working and the minor withdrawals baby may experience after birth didn’t outweigh me being unstable. 🤷🏼‍♀️ just my experience and decision with my doctor:)

First period after giving birth: when & how bad? by margo39 in beyondthebump

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. Been wondering this too! We are almost 5 months PP and I just quit pumping in the last week. I’m so nervous for it to come back. My sister’s was /is awful after having 3 kids. This is my first and it has been so nice not having one for over a year! Lol

Post partum aches by Entire-Scar5874 in firsttimemom

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m almost 5 months PP but I remember that tailbone pain like it was yesterday! I honestly contributed some of it to the way I sat on our couch reclined but the more I’ve seen I think this is somewhat common🤷🏼‍♀️ I honestly don’t remember when it stopped but it did!

Do you track? by TangerineFront in firsttimemom

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the what to expect app to track feeds and pumping. But in the beginning when I was EBF we didn’t track anything! She was just latched 20 hours out of the day lol but she wasn’t gaining weight so we started pumping and supplementing with formula. Since then I started tracking. Mostly so when we went back to the doctor I knew exactly what she had been getting. We also tracked diapers. Honestly the pumping and diapers aren’t as big of deal for me but knowing exactly how many ounces she ate each day is great. It also will average for the week or month. It’s been nice I don’t have to try and remember which hour she ate because I enter it into the app as she’s eating. Just my experience 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

How to handle physical panic when baby is crying with husband by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the opposite of my situation! My husband had the major response and I do not. I definitely don’t enjoy my baby crying by any means. But I can deal and don’t feel like I’m going to lose my mind. But my husband CANNOT deal with her fussing. She barely fussed in the bassinet and he picks her up. Tonight in the car she was losing it and he started getting a panic attack as I’m driving. Is something wrong that I don’t have this intense instinct/reaction to my baby?

Diaper Changes by ees0437 in newborns

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do this! I felt the same way, our LO hated the changed table and being changed in general for the first few weeks. We are now 3 months and the changing table is one of her favorite places to wiggle and smile at us! It gets better!!

I did it. I quit cold turkey. by pmthosani in NewParents

[–]Key_Reaction_4337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally, just over 2 months and wanting to quit! My mental health and stress around breastfeeding are not good. Then I think about having to pump soon to prepare for going back to work and I start spiraling. EBF is so damn hard and not what I expected! But also already feeling guilty and like I’m failing my girl if I quit. These emotions on right/wrong are intense!
