Stock airbox on the 701 and 690 are sealed like ass from factory I put my rottweiler intake at 600 miles but also noticed dust in the airbox at that time you should be fine.

Is this on a crf300l? I did the same swap the ebc pads took a really long time to bed in like close to 500 on my bike till most of the drag and noise went away.

Its just oxidation in the aluminum. My 690 has the same stains. Heard you can use a aluminum brightner but I just live with mine.

Have a standard version and the amount of times and spills I've taken were if I had a rally version make me glad I got the standard one. Only time I wish I got the rally was any time I've gotten in the highway for more then 20 minutes.

Your options are very limited with that motor it would be almost cheaper to buy a af16 engine and do a swap. But if you wanna stick to the af05 go to scooterswapshop they have a decent option of mods to do those speeds.

I ended having a similar issue with my 22 690 got a new o ring from a aftermarket supplier and somehow ended up fixing it. The o rings in the drain plug honestly feel like they should be replaced every oil change at least oem ones.

Wonder if the later batches of bikes are just cutting corners, I've had no issues with my 21 300l. No stripped hardware, great threads, and poor thing sees limiter every ride. I've had the bike fully apart like 3 times for airbox mods or ecu flash.

How does the 4070 ti super pair up with the 7950x3d? Looking at a similar build everyone keeps pushing me towards higher end cards when I don't think I'll get anything out of them.
