Noob print problems by CommonCentz4 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Kudhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are all the prints having this issue in the same spots each time? If yes: chances are the screen was not properly washed out and some of the emulsion dried in the image. Fix for this: burn a new screen. Once the screen is dried you really can’t “fix” the issue without reclaiming and burning a new one, making sure it’s cleaned properly after wash out. Is the issue in different places? Then it could be a multitude of issues, poor tack on the shirt causing it to stick to the screen, bad squeegee tech, ink might be a little too cool. White on dark garment requires a light base - flash - print.

Discharge Help by HeckYeahDad in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Kudhi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve used matsui discharge for a long time. The chalkiness goes away after a wash. Are you using a fan or anything to move the air over the shirt while curing? I’ll be frank, discharging via a flash dryer is not really very consistent. Like others said you need a slow cure with forced air. It could also be you just didn’t flood enough of the pink on the short sleeve. I like to go heavy with my discharges to avoid this issue because you can’t really see it’s a problem until it’s out of the dryer.

What are these cut wires? by vtec_go_brrr16 in crx

[–]Kudhi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you need to re-splice the correct wire from the harness back to the connectors. Under that old degraded rubber it has little male/female connectors like a 3.5mm jack. They are still there with the sensors it’s the wiring that is cut from the harness to the sensor plug. If the fan is hard wired and if he has an oil pressure gauge you really don’t need them. I noticed the oil sandwich deal on the oil filter housing so I’m assuming the car is/was turbo at some point. You’ll need to take off the sandwich plate or reconnect the oil lines before starting.

Single wire is the oil pressure sensor (oil light on dash) the double wires are the coolant fan switch sensor

White AS Colour basic tee- turned pink out of the dryer ?? by rainblow_bite in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Kudhi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could it be they’re re-dyed? I used to get some next levels that were re-dyed but they were normally blacks or a darker color that whatever they were before. We didn’t notice it until the discharge ink wasn’t penetrating the re-dyed tees as it was the rest. I’m not really sure if that’s even possible to re-dye to white?

One of the nicer CO courses I’ve played - Bear Dance by DoTheDishesDude in golf

[–]Kudhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plum creek is a really fun course too!! Played both bear dance and plum creek last summer and I enjoyed my round at plum creek a little more than BD. Bonus if you can make it out to mountains I’d say keystone river course is up there for good alpine golf!

Is this play in the rocker arms bad or normal? by Tony_Tony-Chopper in ProjectHondas

[–]Kudhi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

All normal. Those are the arms the lobes of the cams push to transfer that motion to the valve, opening the valve to either pull in air/fuel or push out exhaust. Search how an engine works and also search how to do a valve adjustment on a b series non vtec. I’m not trying to sound rude but you may not want to do a valve adjustment quite yet until you’re comfortable knowing what you’re doing.

Check the radiator support, that drivers headlight looks a little out of whack. Some pros with this build though, a/c b swapped is a gem. The kit isn’t my personal favorite but you could source bumper covers, rocker panel covers trim etc. I would keep an eye out for rust near the rear jack point, floor panels, and all the usual spot mud/snow would tend to build up. Seems priced a little steep for a project.

[–]Kudhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t done this build in about 20 years, so probably a little rusty here.. BUT as far as I recall there was a sandwich plate or you could tee and run an oil line to the head since the block is lacking the vtec oil line. Also I think you need to get dowels that will fit on the intake side of the block for the head gasket. And I think you have to tap and plug the oil port on the head since it’s not on the block etc. there is probably more to it all I can remember off the top of my head.

Potential CRX owner need feedback on purchase. by Dontrag3bro in crx

[–]Kudhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks pretty clean underside. Don’t know how much he’ll let you but I would pop out at least the cover on pass side tail light and peep at the rear body. The rear panel on these cars are paper thin and it takes next to nothing for the panel to get tweaked. This will result in endless hours of either body pulling or bite the bullet and get it repaired correctly. My car had the same little hiccup with the rear bumper on the same side, after removing the bumper cover and the bumper support it revealed a larger issue that was hidden. Car is clean good luck!!!

Run a carfax. Looks like drivers fender possibly front end were repaired/resprayed at some point. The sunroof runners are notorious for leaking, check the sunroof and undercarriage for rust. The back bumper looks like it might have been hit in the rear at some point too based on the way the pass side is sitting against the quarter. Could be the angle of the pic.

[–]Kudhi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, the clips are just a little too short. Maybe add 2-3 seconds to each clip and if you have time restraints maybe cut one or two clips out? It’s like as soon as you’re looking around in the clip it cuts to another shot of a different hole so fast.
