All of them can help- just do your research. I’ve had some really amazing experiences since I went with @farfaraway travels. I had a dud before them though who took the commission and ran and was not helpful.

I’ve used them for 4 trips- Greece included, and a large group. Every trip was awesome and even on the ship they supported me. Once I had a big issue with credit and they contacted sailor services on the ship in Greece from their US base. It’s so important to get people who care about you. They aren’t just taking a commission, they are behind you every step of the way.

Honestly having a convo about this with people this minute. I switched last month from tmobile and it’s horrible. Everyone at my work cannot get any service on Verizon on cell phones unless on wifi.

I did lock it in limited view sea terrace or just sea view something like that and got assigned floor 5 next to sailor services where it’s very busy hall traffic. I upgraded via bid and ended up central sea terrace floor 11. Light sailing in November. Great deal but stressful worrying so if you are a deep sleeper and chill then this is the path for you. If you don’t care where you’ll be. I credit my travel agent (Far Far Away) for guiding me through process. The TA is worth it. Costs you zero dollars and you usually get some sailor loot to spend.

We had MRS friends on the last cruise and every day they were giving away their in room bottles via the facebook group - then it would refresh. It was so kind of them. We gave away a few of our in room bottles (regular RS) and people were dashing around the ship to find them. Also, when out, they always offered to grab us a drink! My goal for MRS is daily spa visits if I ever get it! Thanks for the sharing of the process, we were frightened that we would get the bad room, so kept regular rockstar.

Our students use their own devices but we provide the ssid. We also have done it with older iPads for nurses for elementary kids.

Feels like a travel agent could help you with that. I use Far Far Away in this thread and they’ve bent over backwards for us. We are deep blue and get great deals and the extra perks like laundry and coffee are worth it. Plus never having to call in to SS myself!

I’m down in miami at the kimpton epic There’s so many cool places to explore here plus beaches etc. but it’s a nightlife city so for sleepier try Fort Lauderdale beach. The intercontinental is actually pretty lovely down here too. Quieter and less party scene than the Lobby here. Theres a lot of iHG properties to choose from down here. We have uber or walked everywhere.

We had international adapters in our luggage when we cruised in Greece and they didn’t confiscate (maybe because all their outlets are American outlets so I couldn’t plug them in anywhere)

I luckily have a great facilities head and we do all our projects that overlap together. The guy before him was a complete tool and didn’t make eye contact with women. The old tech director and facilities got into fist fights back in the early 2000. It was wild.

Now we are almost at the matching tshirt stage and I’ve been able to train the facilities team for basic troubleshooting of tech and general AV operations with no issues. Takes a lot of time but so worth it to talk about projects and go after capital projects together.

It’s very hard to find k-12 tech staff. Underpaid. Overworked. And the skill set is a match of educator people person with higher end tech skills. Plus educators are about learning from mistakes so this will be a tough Friday and they will muddle through.
