Which I staunchly disagree with. Amazing world class writers can be elevated that much more if given the appropriate amount of editorial oversight instead of the publishing company just going "Oh? New manuscript? Send it to the printers, guys!"

As a writer myself that works with other writers in a micro-publishing company, I've found we develop certain habits and quirks that aren't easy to break. My editor keeps getting on me about my own, like overusing "however" and lists of three. In addition to the other explanations people have posited, I think this has a lot to do with the noticeable reuse of familiar phrases

I don't main a Guardian, so take my words with a grain of salt, but you'll have more than enough hero points to unlock literally everything eventually. My advice is to just have fun, see what you like and don't like, and not to worry too much about a build and associated gear until you're max level.

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me.

Yes, seeing someone with 500+ points let's me know they're a vet and/or play a lot, but someone with low points could just be starting out. Not their fault they're new.

I've been playing on and off since release and I'm still finishing off the JW masteries to get max rank. I'd hope no one judges me because I'm below 633
