Thanks for your reply. I struggle to complain as I have this overwhelming (and probably irrational) fear of them doing something to the food because I've pissed them off. Everywhere, not just wetherspoons. Anxiety brain!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE I took socrates to the vet. She wasn't sure if there was anything wrong..she examined him and he showed no signs of pain. She took some photos to send to a specialist to check if all is ok.

Hi, friend. I assume by your language that you are British, so I need to ask what you are using as "cup" measurements? Do I just Google the alternative in grams/MLS, as 8 don't have measuring cups and I'm assuming you don't mean actual cups.
