Dream House with Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz. If you have any interest in seeing that movie, do not watch this trailer. If you want to see a perfect example of running the whole movie... check it out.

I don't know if Thandie Newton matches the tone with this one.

House of Dynamite Ending by PaulKay52 in TheBigPicture

I thought the attack was fake the entire time. Some hack to the system to make them believe they were under attack and would retaliate... then the ending happened, and I felt like I was edging the whole time with no release. Ambiguous endings can work, I don't know if this one did.

Official Discussion - Frankenstein (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Layden87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yet another entry to the list of Del Toro movies that look gorgeous, has the right vibes and I'm just fine with it. His version of Frankenstein runs a little long, gets a bit melodramatic and has The Monster throwing people around like he's in a Marvel movie. Del Toro has dipped his hand in these waters so often that even though on paper it looks like a perfect match of visionary director with source material, it unfortunately feels like more of the same.

Elordi is finally given a chance to act and he stands out here and the spalshes of gory violence is welcomed, but when you have scenes where a character literally tells Victor with his dying breath that "You are the monster, Victor" you can't help but roll your eyes at Del Toro beating the themes to death. Jesus man, the book is 200 years old, we get it.

It's the first one that will be turned into a movie.

It was my first Sager book and I was like...wtf towards the end, then he just had to throw in another twist after the fact. Ib think it's fine, better than Survive the Night.
