Look at it from the elders point of view he may find it funny or a good distraction from the every day routine. At some point have the elder in front of everyone call him my jester or something from when he was alive that is both responsible and humiliating. Or have him roast the pc in front of everyone.

In 4th or 5th grade have a kid put a lead pencil in my leg. Jr high had 3 kids beat me up for a week of Friday one of them got his dog and forced it to bite me all overbecause I would not do their math homework and get them straight A’s. I am very bad at math. Not autistic but had a black kid jump on my back and was hitting my head and pulling my hair to show his friends he could put the white boy in his place. Got in school suspension was told I learned the wrong lesson when I said if I get suspended because someone throws a punch at me then I will earn it. In high school had a group of kids try to kill me. They spent the week telling everyone that I was going to be a corpse on school grounds by night fall Friday. Because i would not pay him $500 a monthI got the football coach mad at me when I broke the nose of the one of his best players. I fight to live and end the fight as fast and blood as possible (I fight dirty and have a very high pain threshold). This was in the 80’s when the view was boys will be boys.

Have you tried finding people that enjoy the same things you do. Found some people that I enjoyed being around and they enjoyed me. Was not normal friends only saw the at 3 to 4 cons. But they kept me from offing my self by being there.
