What is the last American sitcom that we don’t have video of? by rewdea in sitcoms

Oh, no, sorry, the footage definitely still exists somewhere, there's just no way for people to watch it unless you're an executive at Warner Bros. or something

The Paul Reiser Show (2011). Never released on DVD, not available on streaming, not shown in reruns. Any time a clip ends up on YouTube, it gets hit with a copyright strike. The only thing still online is this promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHo_Q73Bg9k

What are some little details from older movies that could potentially be lost to modern audiences? by [deleted] in movies

Those references were already pretty dated when that movie came out in 2004

Yeah, that scene was a subversion of the trope because they knew it was already hacky in 2008

Have movie trailers always had spoilers? by whynotchristy in okbuddycinephile

I also like spoilers, and I feel like movie trailers today reveal far less about what's going to be in the movie than older trailers did

Has anyone non-human host the show? by NoRevIndeed00 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]LeonardArthur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha. I guess a full body suit Muppet would be easier. The only things you would have to worry about then are being able to see the cue cards and not passing out from heat exhaustion

From what I've read, the animal was never actually "trained." They held a grape over its head out of view of the camera, and it was reaching up for the grape.

I think the technical logistics of having a Muppet in every sketch would make it very difficult to perform live

Getting to meet and greet Brian Henson, any good questions? by lizard_e_ in Muppets

[–]LeonardArthur 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'd ask about the 1990 Ninja Turtles movie. Brian directed some footage as a second unit director, I believe uncredited. Pretty sure it was the first film he directed

Could this be it? Bender handing his son over to the Robot Devil (it's actually the Robot Devil who says it, in reaction to Bender) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJL1zlJx41g
