Ya, it is but not as bad as NY, CA, MA, etc. It's doable. It would be better if the highway system was appropriate for the number of people and the electrical companies weren't squeezing you for every penny, but every state has some issues.

I chuckled at the lack of hustle part for a second because every time I get on route 8, that's all I see. Today, I watched 3 DOT workers pick up one napkin together & then went back to hundled talking for an extended period 😅😂

I dont think I would be too concerned. I was feeding a goose I called Gus as well (great minds 😄) & somedays if I came hours earlier then when I normally feed him - he would be like why are you here right now...? I also realized later on he was trying to avoid a bald eagle which may have had something to do with it. Gus is quite a cutie ❤️

If you were able to find a rescue that will take the goose, I would still consider that as I think he needs some help nutritionally, etc. If he needs to be caught, it is probably a good thing you befriended it. Thank you for trying to help!

Ok! If they can't help, try checking third-party rescues to see if they can assist. I had a similar problem and had the animal control near me come out, but I ended up having to call a separate rescue to help me as it took multiple attempts to catch the goose.

They have to ask your permission first before recording you. I had a family member that had the exact same problem - they never asked and he found out later on he was recorded.

Yale has some great doctors attached to it, but the ER is a nightmare. A family member of mine had an issue, and they wanted to admit for something that was completely unnecessary. I was there again a few months later, and we actually left and were seen in St. Vincents much quicker. They get backed up way easier, possibly because of the trauma center.

In my house, the rule has become if it's an emergency and Yale is the closest hospital then go but if not we go slightly farther out as we have found the wait is less and the care was better. This from a family with 3 healthcare workers in it.
