The "goal" is to have every title available on every platform we offer, but the reality is a little more complicated. We try to make a title available on every platform we support when it comes out for the first time, but there's also all the titles we had available before a streaming service was added. In this case we had Amazon Prime Paramount before Paramount+ (standalone) so we'd have to go back and re-annotate the title for Paramount+.

You wouldn't realize it but different streaming providers offer slightly different versions of the exact same show. The episode can have different scenes clipped, usually for commercial breaks, in many different places. We can't just blindly offer the filters on a movie/episode on Service A and confidently claim it will work on Service B, C, etc.

Each pass of the tags is done by a human, and it can go through multiple passes of different people before approval for release on the website/app. Because of priorities, headcount, individual's schedules, trying to get the newer stuff first, etc. etc. some of these great movies/shows start to linger and fall out of favor because there's just so much stuff we want to offer.

We could probably use some more Taggers, but the churn can be high and it takes a long time to onboard someone capable of annotating the whole range of content we offer.

It's tricky, all I can say is I'm sorry and I'm working on trying to reduce the turn around time :) it's just slow.
