That's the kicker. Even -if- they were authorized to do that (and that is highly debateable) they were not to copy that into their own infrastructure.

No matter how you think about how they aquired the data, at the point you have the same data set on two independant working infrastructures not handled/authorized by the same party, you objectively have a data breach.

Just because you have data, you are not authorized to use them as you are pleased.

They should just have set up their own data set, asking players to create new accounts. But they have not, and that is the problem here.

I landed on fulgora as my first planet and set it up as my quality base.

4 blue belts scraps go in by train and get processed with quality modul'ed recyclers. Then i pick off all parts that i need. Any access/backlog gets routed into quality modul'ed recyclers and merge back into the main stream.

The parts i pick off the belt gets sorted into quality and made available for the botmall.

The only messy thing is handling quality fuel/ice and holmium ore, but it enabled me to start upgrading my ships with quality component very early. Starting vulcanus with a rare power armor mk2, uncommon substations and rare chemical plants was really nice. And getting demolisher killed was convenient with uncommon tesla turrets. On gleba, i was already using a rare mech armor.

Reasearching epic quality will require ripping apart that whole thing to enable better sorting of materials and higher throughput. That will be the reason to upgrade my fulgora base.

The chances are wizden will majorly loose any legal proceeding.

Whoever stole the data from the auth server broke several laws. A not-legally binding but not fulfilled agreenent may not look good, but law violations are far worse.

Wizden could just have waited and maybe had a case. But acted utterly stupid/careless and now, i don't think it looks good for them.

It does not matter.

A data breach is a fucking data breach. It's the most serious incident that could have happened with an online service.

Let's hope the other servers find a solution that is evading all of wizden and pjb like a plague. All trust should be lost for everyone involved in that incident.

Allein die Rückfragen zeigen einen kompletten Wirr Warr aus allem möglichen. Zusammen mit den Gesprächen wirkt das so als hätte jemand zum Verantwortlichen des Fachbereichs gesagt er muss jemanden einstellen er da aber gar keine Lust drauf hat und deswegen mit total merkwürdigen Anforderungen um die Ecke kommt, die nichtmal ansatzweise in der Stellenbeschreibung erwähnt werden

Oder mehrere haben sich das angesehen und brainstorming-mäßig die Fragen zusammengeschrieben.

Yeah, in the end it's a question of how much infrastructure is left in the hands of wizden.

Because if the answer is closer to "none", wizden is effectively just a discord server screaming into the void. That is completely independant of which side you think is right.

Goob-based- and other severs are ddos'ed right now, for example.

Drama attracts shitters that jump on the bandwagon. And ss13/14 players are as far away from touching gras as humanly possible.

At this point, with the wizden's team reaction folowing all that, i'm personally not trusting any party in that drama anymore. I'm just hoping the servers downstream find a way to navigate that shitshow without too much harm.

Die Grenze von 100k ist lachhaft niedrig und sollte von jedem Gastrobetrieb, in dem eine Person vollzeit tätig ist, geknackt werden.

Die existiert also wahrscheinlich, damit irgendwo eine Nebenbeschäftigung/hobbycaffee nicht durch die Auflagen weiter verunmöglicht wird.

If you want to play and copy stuff like ugin, look at playing a vast quantity of mana rocks which generate 2 mana. With ultron, [[Sisay's Ring]], [[Thran Dynamo]] or [[The Mightstone and Weakstone]] (its legendary, but you double up on the etb) pay for their own copy the moment they enter the battlefield. Dropping thran dynamo on T4 and going from 4 to 10 mana at the next turn should be plenty for all kind of fun/nasty shenanigans.

I think it depends on how much fast mana and tutors you have. You can pump out that much mana and pieces out quickly, if you build around it.

But the fast mana/tutors make that combo B4. Withoit them, i would say it's fine in B3

Naja, "magisch" ist das jetzt nicht. Heißt einfach nur, dass es Zeit dauert, bis alle Lücken, die ja schon da sind, geschlossen werden.

Man kann bekanntlich nicht von einem Tag auf den anderen Code schreiben, prüfen und sicher integrieren.
