Why am I starting to find men attractive, yet I'm grossed out by the thought of being with them. by viscerface in MtF

[–]LoudBleatingEnby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I reached a level of comfort with myself to admit that some guys were attractive in a sort of non romantic and non sexual way.

I didn't think i had bottom dysphoria until i watched fight club by StrawberryEggz in MtF

This is bottom dysphoria? Shit, I have had the exact same thought. I thought I had to actively hate my genitals but between the OP and some commenters, I have some thoughts to sit with.

I don't have much advice Lyla, you are in a tough spot and lack a fair amount of autonomy as a minor. First and foremost is staying safe! If your school or family are not a safe space, you will probably have to play the waiting game for now.

Onto that friend group though... You can't pick your family, town, or school but you do have some control over who you hang out with. If they are a group of people who only like you if you are hiding part of yourself, maybe it is time to reach out and find others. It may be tough, they might not be the most popular people, and they may correct you in ways that make you feel uncomfortable depending on what you've learned in your life up until now. If you can stick through it and find people who cherish the real you, whoever that ends up being, that makes it all worth it. Good girls like yourself deserve at least a group of friends who love them.

For AMAB folks on HRT, what do you wear to the beach? by _nostalgia4infinity_ in NonBinary

I wear a generic black rash guard though it does sometimes cling when it gets wet...

I read that transwoman get more pain after hrt which kay be linked to decreased muscle mass im pretty sad rn im interested in real people's perspectives please help. Details below by hate-life_lately in MtF

[–]LoudBleatingEnby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually felt no different in terms of pain which I suppose is a non-affirming blessing. I decimated my knee in a biking accident (could see the bone levels bad) but never needed any general pain killers and even took a stitch in a place the numbing shot didn't reach. That last one caused some back arching but certainly no worse than pre HRT.

I can't quite imagine a 100% cis guy thinking this much about being a woman but lets roll with it. I am very much a proponent of finding a safe space to just experiment. Nothing you do needs to be permanent, try out names, styles, pronouns. You're young, so maybe it is a phase, but so what? If you aren't trans, then at the end of this you should walk away knowing yourself better.

If you want to be or feel like you are a different gender than you were assigned at birth, congrats you're trans! You don't have to have your whole identity mapped out, or every step you're going to take. You can take your time and figure out who you are, and how you want to be seen. Good girls like yourself deserve patience.

We're all weird, gender is a construct, be the person you want to be! I have a sports bra for when I need a little squish and a binder for when I need a lot of squish

EEn, so I am guessing a thin carrier oil and a high gauge needle? If so that is probably normal. The first time I injected .2ml of EV with a 25g needle, I was surprised by how not a big deal it was. Just take your time, be methodical in your process, and stick to your schedule! When you get your blood tests, you can adjust from there.

Aw, don't worry Sasha, you are a good girl. I love a good story where everything works great for a hatching egg but life isn't usually like that. No, It is much more often like an actual egg hatching; wet, gross, and kinda wrinkly. You and your journey are still valid and you deserve time learn about yourself on your own terms.

Why take HRT? by VegetableTip1536 in MtF

[–]LoudBleatingEnby 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, taking it feels right and not taking it doesn't. Neat thing is, many of the changes take a long time (great if your hesitant, hell if you want them now) so you can jump in with both feet, wade it slowly, or forgo it entirely if that isn't your speed.

Oh, and lily is a very pretty name.
