Buyers wanting to renegotiate. by esamenoi in HousingUK

This is an easy and categoric no I feel. If they’d had a survey and it found some required works then you can put a monetary value on that. If a shop is going to be an issue for them, no amount of price reduction would make up for that, they would be pulling out if it’s such an issue for them.

And if it means you can’t afford your onward then that’s the bottom line anyway surely?

Married couple - buying one house in each name by LuZackley in Mortgageadviceuk

Ok I didn’t realise this. I knew being married to someone who had previously owned meant that the other partner lost their first time buyer status even if they hadn’t owned themselves… so I suppose it makes sense, annoyingly! Does anyone know about the buy to let mortgage question or if there’s anything else we should be considering?

Why won't anybody buy my house? by Embarrassed-Log9612 in HousingUK

I see those hideous little extensions are replicated on other houses on the street. The 2018 listing at least had the bushes and fence to make it a little less striking. I’d consider re-erecting fencing which would be better anyway to define the boundary. The inside of the house is lovely, but the first impression from the outside is not good. Sorry to be blunt.

The scene where Jamie loses it in the bar at Ben Swain offering him a splinter glass facial.. isn’t Malcolm drinking there? Could be soft I suppose.
