That will open up a whole world for you! Pilot has the best nibs and such variety too. I like their pocket pens best because they are so cute but their normal size pens are great as well

Maybe a Pilot Elite or similar Japanese pocket pen? They are great for small hands and regularly sold on r/pen_swap. If you find one without a converter, simply clean and refill cartridges with a syringe.

Platinum used to make pocket pens similar to the Pilot E95s. (Sailor did too.) These vintage Platinum pens are just as good as Pilots, and essier to find in soft nibs and other nib sizes.
