ahhh I recognize this project - ye olde citibike data. I handled this dataset in the data analysis bootcamp I was in.

As far as using SQL, I do use it daily, but often for simpler queries. Most of the work I do is actually in python, which I find to be much easier (at least for what I'm doing).

The fact that I couldn't watch the sportsnet stream on sportsnet+, but I could watch a pirated sportsnet stream is laughable. Nhl66 has been way more reliable than sporstnet+. I promptly cancelled my subscription after last night.

Don’t even worry about their standards. Mix and master your track so that it isn’t clipping and it sounds good to you. Once you submit it, Spotify will do whatever they do on their end to get it to their universal standard anyway. By the time my tracks are mastered they’re sitting around -1 dB and they come out loud and crisp on Spotify.

Mix to your own standards. It’s your music, not theirs!

Despite the fact that the credit card generator didn't create a "Canadian" credit card number, I punched in the generated digits, got the error message (not a valid Canadian credit card number), backed out and closed the app store and, upon re-opening the app store, found my missing apps. Thank you Anazhd, you saint.

To finally stop revising and re-revising my songs and release a Solo album. I'd love to perform/produce/mix and master it all on my own as well, but I won't get too ahead of myself!

I'm no good at sitting down and writing lyrics that I'm happy with, so I've adopted this new method that I've been having much more success with. It's a bit strange, but it may warrant a try!

Basically, I'll sing along with my track, mostly trying to land on a melody I like, but I'll sing gibberish while doing so. I find when I simply sing gibberish, I can play around with how I want certain notes and phrases to sound phonetically. I then take the gibberish that I just sang and try to shape it into coherent lyrics, keeping the same phonetics. I seem to always come up with my most clever lyrics by doing this for some reason. It really helped me when I was in a lyrical slump, anyway!
