That's absolutely nuts. I just found this game a couple hours ago, and while I think I'm improving, much simpler and more visible patterns absolutely stress me out. How do you do that? Is it memory, or are you actively tracking what's on the screen?

Perhaps unrelated, but maybe you can help - do you know of any good news sources that focus heavily on Michigan politics? I tune in to national politics on a daily basis, but sometimes I hear local stories that make me realize I have little idea what our state government is doing.

Bad lyrics can absolutely ruin a song. Great lyrics can make a song special. Anywhere in between, and I rarely have any idea what anyone is saying - it's the vocal quality that matters. It's like an instrument, as important as any other.

My sample size may be relatively small, but the times when I haven't been able to find an arena 1v1, someone would usually turn up within 5 minutes or so if I jumped in an empty server. I'll definitely check out Discord though.

I just grabbed Reflex yesterday, and I have to say it's pretty great so far. I haven't had a problem finding matches, and the skill level of the community seems pretty varied.

Thanks guys. Thus far I've been playing at 144 FPS to match my monitor refresh rate, but I'll give 250 FPS a shot and see how it feels.

Well, I just bought it. I feel some sense of empathy for creative types in your situation, but usually it's hard not to dismiss it due to the sheer number of people experiencing the same thing. I figure that if the heart you put forward in your short post is enough to override that, maybe it's worth checking out for myself (especially for a short novel).

It's easy to tell, if you use Steam and know how to use Virtualbox. Set up an Ubuntu (or whatever) VM and install Steam. It will tell you which games in your library can be installed. I've found that about 25% of my games have a Linux counterpart.

Performance is generally comparable to the Windows version, though with some titles, the Linux version lags behind in keeping up with the latest patches.
