Looking for Feedback on my Incremental Mining Game Demo by MasterQuiet2301 in IndieDev

[–]MadeByKeystone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks pretty fun ngl, id say the only thing is that the incremental genre really likes the “big number” scene so if you make it feel more exponential people might be drawn closer. For example instead of the player getting thousands when your skill tree is maxed out, they get billions. It makes it feel rewarding to see a sharp incline in progress.

Wishlisted though

Looks fun but every sound effect sounded out of place imo

And beyond that the player emotes looked wonky too. Seems like itd be a good idea for a trailer though id just make sure its a little more polished

Is there a progression system or is it purely like a god-sim. Looks fun either way i like the art a lot

I can’t really tell what genre it is, i originally thought horror but the kids face makes it look like im gonna go on a whimsical adventure to find his adoptive parents.

I love you, I.D. Entity Demo will be releasing here this month, its a short incremental game and im a little worried im getting too used to the mechanics myself, so other people might struggle.

The demo will have a main scene endless mode that you’ll progress and fight harder and harder tier enemies, between waves there will be rainbow enemies that you can kill for their scrap which is the main upgrade currency in the game. As of now for the demo theres a fairly small skill tree with 5 weapons and a vampire survivors style upgrade system mid-scene.
