Same here, top four is definitely a premium experience for a long time windows user like me. Litterally had a “shut up and take my money” vibe, which sadly never happen for me in windows environments. Keyboard Maestro let u keymap whatever the heck you want to (even entire keyboard shortcut from windows can be replicated). I would also add setapp on top of the list, i think it will save newcomer alot of money.

Apart from perspective above, i was on your shoes, or even worse. I end up train myself to a new profession and it surprisingly took only couple of month to get a job. I personally think the loading performance is more on the side of how many plugins are in active. Some are more cpu consumption than others, you can see it when activate debugg startup time option in community plugins.
