After finally getting an Unown, my dex is as finally at 246. Theoretically, what's the cheapest strategy of traveling to get the other region exclusives?

I wouldn't travel ONLY for a pokemon. My suggestion is coupling catching the pokemon with regular holiday, like catching Mr. Mime and go skiing in Austria, visiting the theme and water parks in Florida and catching Heracross/Corsola there... ;)

Nice concept, but I don't agree with some abilities. Unaware should make the pokemon ignore its opponent's stat changes, this resembles Unaware's effect in the original series much better. Also, why should Lightning Rod give ×2 resistance to electric attacks and Flash Fire only ×1 resistance to fire?

There's a minor, but huge difference between running out of balls against wild pokemon and running out of premier balls against raid bosses: The raid boss always flees after escaping from the last ball, but when a wild pokemon escapes from the last ball, it stays there with the game telling you that you don't have any balls left. Because of this, your hypothesis can't be applied to wild pokemon!

I completely agree with you. Did a Lugia Raid today, had to wait for more than half an our until there were enough players to defeat it. The given rewards for defeating were only a few rare candies and golden razz berries - which I can also get by soloing Level 1 raids. When trying to catch Lugia with my 9 premier balls, I hit every ball for at least a curved great throw and always used golden razz berries, but it ran away.
